New to Grow
Hi, I’m Dr. Ariana Yeager! I want to thank you so much for taking the first steps toward therapy. Making this choice takes courage, and I’m here to make this space feel warm, welcoming, and encouraging. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a doctoral degree in Counseling and Psychological Studies. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, emotional regulation, life transitions, and addiction, and I know starting therapy can feel a little intimidating. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can really be yourself and feel heard! I blend evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed care with a person-centered holistic perspective. Together, we’ll focus on what matters to you, building coping skills, strengthening resilience and finding meaningful ways to grow and feel better in your life.
Our first session is all about getting comfortable and getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, explore your goals and start shaping a plan that fits your needs. You can also ask questions along the way, this is your space and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I believe the best therapy starts with a strong, trusting relationship. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself. I tailor therapy to your unique needs by using a blend of evidence-based approaches. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, trauma-informed care to safely process difficult experiences, and person-centered counseling to build on your strengths. Together, we'll find the approach that works best for you, helping you gain insight, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change, even if they're unsure where to begin. They may be struggling with anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, or the effects of past experiences. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support, I provide a collaborative, compassionate space where we can work together to build insight, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions rather than letting them control your life. Together, we'll build psychological flexibility, practice mindfulness, and identify values that guide meaningful action, empowering you to move toward the life you want even in the presence of challenges.
Thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are all connected. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we'll identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical coping strategies to support lasting change. This approach is goal-oriented, collaborative, and designed to help you build healthier ways of thinking and responding to life's challenges.
Humanistic therapy focuses on helping you better understand yourself and live in a way that aligns with your values. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we'll explore your experiences, strengths, and personal goals to foster self-awareness, confidence, and meaningful growth. My role is to support you in creating positive change while empowering you to reach your full potential.
Healing begins with feeling genuinely seen and understood. My approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and acceptance, creating a space where you can openly explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. Together, we'll build on your strengths, increase self-awareness, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.
I provide trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I recognize how past experiences can impact emotions, relationships, and daily life, and I work collaboratively with you to build coping skills, increase resilience, and promote healing while honoring your strengths and sense of control.
