New to Grow
Life asks us to navigate change, relationships, responsibilities, and moments of uncertainty. At times, we may find ourselves seeking clarity, connection, or a deeper understanding of our experiences. Therapy offers a space where we can slow down, reflect, and explore what matters most. Together, we will make sense of your story, recognize your strengths, and discover meaningful ways to move forward that feel authentic to who you are.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a relationship and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about what has been happening in your life, what you hope to explore, and what you would like to be different. There is no need to have your story perfectly organized or share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify patterns, strengths, and areas where support may be helpful. Together, we will explore how therapy can best support your goals and determine whether we are a good fit to do this work together.
We all carry experiences that shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. In our work together, we will approach your story with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the complexity of your experiences. I bring a calm, thoughtful presence and a commitment to truly understanding what lies beneath the surface. I listen deeply, but I also believe growth often requires reflection and gentle challenge. Together, we will explore patterns, identify strengths, and create new possibilities for moving forward. My goal is not to tell you who you are, but to help you better understand yourself and recognize the wisdom, resilience, and capacity for change that already exist within you.
My ideal client is someone who is seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences. They may be navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or questions about identity, purpose, and belonging. They are open to reflection, meaningful conversation, and exploring new possibilities. Together, we will work toward greater clarity, self-understanding, and a life that feels more aligned with who they are.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. Together, we will identify patterns of thinking that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or feeling stuck, while developing more balanced and effective ways of responding to life's challenges. CBT provides practical tools for increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful change.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
Recognizing that we are shaped by the stories, relationships, cultures, and communities that surround us, we approach therapy with respect for the complexity of each person’s lived experience. Together, we will explore the experiences that have influenced who you are, the strengths you carry, and the possibilities for growth and change.
Eclectic
Our experiences are layered, shaped by our relationships, histories, values, and the environments we move through. Therapy should have the flexibility to meet you where you are. We draw from different therapeutic approaches to better understand your story, explore patterns, and identify tools that support meaningful change. Together, we will create a therapeutic process that honors your goals, your values, and the life you are working toward.
