My goal is to help my clients get to the root of their symptoms which is why I use practices that have been shown to be effective. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) which are the primary modalities that use. I believe that everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life’s difficulties. I strive to develop a strong therapeutic alliance by using a client-centered approach. I provide a non-judgemental space where clients can feel safe and empowered to begin their healing process.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Sessions are tailored to the client's needs and what they are seeking from therapy. During our first visit, an assessment will be completed, we will start building rapport as well as a care plan which will include the client's goals and objectives. Clients will be able to process what is underneath those symptoms and behavior and develop healthier ways of thinking.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use evidence-based practices that are effective in improving people's quality of life. I specifically use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems).
