Hi! I am Dr. Diana Wilcox, Ph.D. and received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1990. I also completed a year-long internship at the Maimondies Medical and Community Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. I have worked in teaching, research, and clinical practice. I go by "Dr. D." for short. Are you feeling anxious or depressed? Do you have obsessive thoughts? I empower high performing adult men and women to manage anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and depression. Ready to hear more? I provide a safe, compassionate, and nurturing therapeutic relationship for you to both heal and grow. While spirituality is not a necessity for therapy, Christian-based techniques are available for those who desire that approach. ***For more information, see my website at GoldenChatTherapy.com.*** At the website you can also hear my podcast Golden Chat! Prepare to embrace your future! You can reach my personal reception team at: +1 (786) 755-1863 reception+Diana3627@growtherapy.com

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

If this method is requested, I used scriptures and stories from the Bible, as well as journaling and prayer to round out the therapy session..

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This method uses tools to help the client to address any irrational thoughts or core beliefs.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This approach emphasizes empathy, compassion, and respect, and can be a good building block for other relationships in the client's life.
