Greetings. My name is Keby Reese, and I believe that healing is a collaborative process built on trust and safety. As a Licensed Social Worker, I have dedicated my career to helping children, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in helping individuals and parents struggling with burnout, move beyond past obstacles, develop practical strategies for emotional well-being, and cultivate healthier, more meaningful connections with those around them. My practice is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe and emotionally secure. I am experienced in several therapeutic approaches and evidence-based interventions such as Parent-Child Care (PC-CARE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients process their thoughts and feelings, increase confidence, navigate conflict, solve problems and create a sense of safety and stability in their lives. Whether you are seeking to improve your relationships, regulate your emotions, or simply find a sense of inner peace, I am here to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for you to grow at your own pace. Life can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Choosing to begin therapy is a courageous first step. If you’re looking for a partner in your healing journey who is dedicated to your growth, I would be honored to support you. Please reach out to schedule a consultation, I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

For our first session, we will go over introductions, and I will gather information about your needs and interests in services. We will also discuss scheduling and session expectations.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I pride myself on conducting thorough, high-quality assessments that serve as the foundation for our work together. My approach is deeply collaborative and holistic; I believe treatment plans should be client-centered, strengths-based, and driven by your specific goals. I lead with integrity and radical acceptance, ensuring our space is one of honesty and respect. As a trauma-informed clinician, I integrate evidence-based models—including CBT, PC-CARE, and Mindfulness —with Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Systems theory. Together, we will focus on building mental and emotional resilience, developing practical problem-solving skills, and fostering a compassionate relationship with yourself and others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Parents/Caregivers (including foster care/adoption families) struggling to parent children due to tantrums, defiance, trauma, anxiety, depression, or ADHD. Individuals seventeen years and up, experiencing challenges due to stress (work, school, relationships), anxiety, trauma, grief, anger, and depression. During their work with me, clients have reported an alleviation of uncomfortable feelings and symptoms caused by anxiety, stress, trauma, childhood experiences, grief/sadness, and anger while improving their mental health and building connection with others. In addition to talk therapy, I also incorporate goal setting and skill building, helping clients develop a plan to care for themselves outside of our sessions. Through this work you will learn and practice ways to be compassionate and resilient mentally, emotionally and in relation to others. We’ll talk about how to solve problems, set goals, and think in a way that makes you healthier and stronger.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

Allows me to be aware of the complex impact trauma has on a client. Used to support clients with establishing a sense of safety, gaining back control and empowerment in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Allows me to support the client with identify and modify dysfunctional thought patterns. Used to support clients with exploring patterns of thinking and beliefs that lead to self-destructive/undesired behaviors; then modify or change existing patterns of thinking to cope with stressors in a more helpful manner.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

Allows client to explore their defense mechanism. Used to achieve change through insight and understanding of early, unresolved issues.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

PC-CARE is a brief program that I offer to caregivers of children ages 1 to 10 years with difficult behaviors who want to learn strategies to manage those behaviors. The goal is to decrease trauma symptoms and/or behavior problems, by strengthening the caregiver-child relationship, and give you and your child some tools that you can use for years to come.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is used to apply to sensory experience, thoughts, and emotions by using sustained attention and helping clients notice their experience without reacting. Mindfulness helps clients increase their self-awareness, self-control, and attention. It can also reduce their emotional suffering and increase compassion for themselves and others. Practicing mindfulness allows clients to see reality more accurately and without judgement.
