Hi, I am Jennifer Crystle, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults, helping them navigate life's many challenges and strengthen their emotional well-being. I specialize in supporting clients through anxiety and depression and helping them achieve meaningful change and regain control that may have been lost when struggling with thoughts and emotions. If you are ready to take action towards making some changes, I am ready to help support you and assist you in exploring those next steps. Let's begin this process so you can start feeling like your best possible self. My clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with other treatment modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. These frameworks allow me to create personalized treatment to help you achieve your goal of feeling better. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space in which to reveal your struggles, develop new perspectives, learn strategies and coping skills to move toward the life you want to live.
In our first session together, we will focus on getting to know each other and gathering the necessary information, address specific challenges you are facing, and discuss your goals. Subsequent session will focus on the plan we have created and the strategies to achieve those goals.
I provide a comfortable and safe space to explore and process your experiences. My greatest strengths lie in offering compassionate and warm support, establishing strong connections with you as my client, and helping you develop skills needed to make positive changes for a better future.
I work with adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating challenges related to anxiety and depression that make life a struggle and who are ready to start making some changes to improve their overall mental health and well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My clinical approach for over 15 years is grounded in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which has proven beneficial for a wide range of emotional and mental health issues. It works by identifying and adjusting behaviors and thoughts that get in the way of reaching your goals and feeling better.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is helpful to those individuals who experience difficulties managing and regulating emotions as well as interpersonal relationships. It combines acceptance, changing unhelpful behaviors, learning concrete skills to help bring awareness to emotional dysregulation, and problem solving.
