As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected. I believe therapy works best when there’s a strong, trusting connection, and I strive to create that through empathy, collaboration, and genuine care. I work with individuals who may be struggling with relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. Above all, my goal is for you to feel supported and empowered as you create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll work toward helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and build the confidence to move forward in a way that feels right for you. If this resonates with you, I invite you to book a session for us to connect and discuss more.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel a mix of emotions. In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, any concerns or challenges you’re facing, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. You can expect me to listen with empathy, ask thoughtful questions, and work collaboratively with you to begin understanding your experiences and goals. Together, we’ll start identifying what you’d like to work toward, whether that’s improving relationships, managing stress or anxiety, healing from past experiences, or navigating a life transition. We’ll also discuss how I can best support you and what the therapy process may look like moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment-informed and evidence-based practices while remaining flexible and individualized to meet each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. I integrate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, strength-based interventions, and attachment-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change. I value cultural sensitivity and strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I recognize the importance of considering each client’s cultural background, personal values, family dynamics, and lived experiences within the therapeutic process. What sets my approach apart is my focus on combining insight-oriented work with practical, real-life application. I aim to provide clients with tangible tools and coping strategies they can use outside of sessions to improve communication, manage stress and anxiety, navigate life transitions, strengthen relationships, and build a healthier sense of self. My goal is to help clients not only feel supported and heard, but also empowered with the skills, confidence, and self-awareness needed to create sustainable growth and emotional resilience in their everyday lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adult individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship or communication difficulties, and life transitions. Many of the clients I support are looking for practical ways to cope with emotional stress, improve their mental health, and better understand themselves and their relationships. I work collaboratively with clients to help them build coping skills, gain insight, strengthen emotional resilience, and create meaningful changes that support overall well-being and personal growth. My ideal client is someone who is motivated and actively engaged in the therapeutic process, including participating in interventions and applying coping skills and insights learned in sessions to their daily life between appointments.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. I support clients in recognizing unhelpful thought patterns such as catastrophizing, self-criticism, rumination, and negative core beliefs, while developing healthier coping strategies and more balanced ways of thinking.

Attachment-based

I utilize an attachment-based approach in therapy to help clients understand how early relational experiences and attachment patterns influence their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. This approach supports clients in exploring patterns related to trust, emotional connection, vulnerability, and interpersonal dynamics that may contribute to anxiety, depression, or relational difficulties. In therapy, I work to create a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship while helping clients develop greater emotional awareness, healthier relationship patterns, and increased security in their connections with others.

Strength-Based

I utilize a strength-based approach in therapy by helping clients recognize and build upon their existing strengths, resilience, values, and past successes. This approach encourages clients to view themselves through a more empowered and capable lens rather than focusing solely on symptoms or challenges. In practice, I support clients in identifying internal and external resources, increasing self-efficacy, and developing practical coping strategies that promote growth, confidence, and long-term emotional well-being.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I utilize a person-centered approach by creating a supportive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. This approach emphasizes unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and collaboration, allowing clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. In therapy, I support clients in strengthening self-awareness, building self-acceptance, and developing insight and confidence to make meaningful changes aligned with their personal values and goals.
