LPC, 6 years of experience

Hi, I'm Danielle, a licensed counselor in Pennsylvania. Do you notice that you've been feeling overwhelmed and worried? Maybe you just don't feel like yourself and you want a new direction? I work with individuals who are struggling to adapt to the changes in their lives and those facing stress, anxiety, depression, and work-related concerns. I believe that everyone is equipped with unique strengths, abilities, and skills. At times we all need support to overcome the challenges that emerge in our lives. I seek to create a supportive, positive environment where you can identify meaningful and realistic goals, develop the skills you need to accomplish them, and change your life for the better.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll get to know each other as I gain background info about what has been bothering you. By the end of our first session, we will have a clear idea of what you want to address and how we will know you're making progress as we continue forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My biggest strength is creating a non-judgemental space for clients to share their stories and their struggles. It's easy to find criticism in the world, but when we feel accepted and cared for we can begin to turn down the volume of our inner critic and turn up our self-compassion and self acceptance. Time is valuable; it is important to me that you feel that your time in session is well utilized. I seek to empower, hear, validate, and support each of my clients on their unique journey toward healing and growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with adults ages 18-45. I connect well with clients who are motivated to make changes, but unsure of how to do so.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to teach clients how to examine and reconstruct thought processes. Thoughts, emotions, and behavior are interconnected. As we gain awareness of how thinking impacts us, we can shift toward respectful, adaptable thinking to improve our lives.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I infuse each session with Person-centered approaches in order to assist clients in developing awareness of themselves and increase self-compassion.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

The solutions-focused approach allows me to assist clients target specific issues and generate clear goal-directed responses.
