I was born in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic. My family and I migrated to the USA in 1995. I have two siblings. My journey towards Ph.D. started with a desire to teach and train other professionals in the field. As an author and presenter, I have traveled to various countries exposing my ideas on the topic of heartbreak and how therapists can help clients who experience this phenomenon. As a therapist, I view life as a big puzzle, which we must put together piece by piece. Sometimes, we get stuck in the puzzle. My job as a therapist is to sit with you and help you figure out which piece goes next. Yo hablo español!
I take pride in my sense of empathy. When you work with me, I will provide you with a listening ear and a keen ability to present you with different perspectives.
