Hi! I'm Terica Brown. Congratulations for the choice to invest in yourself! It can be a difficult proposition to choose to engage in therapy and you have made that choice. I believe therapy is one of the best things anyone can do to care for themselves. It's like a spa for your heart and mind; minus the spa amenities! I specialize in meeting people where they are in a down to earth way, assisting them with identifying their needs and goals, and working with them to address the issues that keep them stuck. One of the best things about therapy is no topic is off limits and the time is all about you! I've been a practicing clinician for over 20 years; working with people from age 5 to 90! I specialize in addressing relational conflicts, anxiety, depression, trauma and serious mental illness. I believe in addressing the whole person, because we take all of us with us everywhere we go. It's your time to walk into your greater and I want to be a part of the story you are creating.
During your first session, you can expect me to get to know you and the reasons you are seeking services. I will complete an assessment and your initial treatment plan. I really want you to feel comfortable and I seek to create a safe and relaxing environment. I will give you contact information, general office policies, and if we really get a lot done, homework!
I bring a variety of experiences that can be applicable across most stages of life, in a variety of settings. I specifically enjoy addressing the needs of those in recovery, women's issues, trauma, fostering resilience, self-discovery, foster care/adoption, and aging.
I am experienced in a vast array of life issues. My clients are adults in all life stages who are ready to begin addressing their concerns in a therapeutic setting.
I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy; however, my primary modality is CBT mixed with a Narrative approach.

An Excellent Therapist! I truly feel blessed to have her as my therapist. She listens deeply & attentively, & I’m impressed by how she remembers things I mentioned several sessions ago. That attn' to detail makes her feedback so personal and meaningful. B/C of our sessions, I’ve grown tremendously. She has provided me w/ tools that help me process what I’m going through & manage life’s many stressors. I now approach challenges w/ greater clarity & strength—thanks to the work we’ve done together.

I’ve been seeing Terica for over a year, and she’s been an amazing fit from day one. She challenges me in all the right ways but always with kindness and a great sense of humor that makes tough conversations easier. I appreciate how she tailors her approach to what I need, to help me think deeply and grow. Therapy with her feels supportive and real, and it’s made a big difference in how I understand myself. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a smart and caring therapist.

Terica is a wonderful therapist and person to talk to! She has helped me understand myself on a deeper level and identified aspects of myself that need work in order to maintain a healthy mindset that prioritizes my loved ones and myself.
