Hi there, I'm Dr. Anike, I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in a variety of mental health disorders, substance abuse and addiction with evidence-based clinical care practices while providing patient education, advocacy, and effective patient-centered care. I help everyday people especially minorities reach their optimal mental health goals and avoid burnout. Together, we can explore your symptoms and tailor a plan that would work best for you. I utilize therapeutic approaches, to work on the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I provide a warm, safe space with, empathetic, evidence-based and holistic approach to sessions to help you feel comfortable to heal and grow. If you are struggling with feeling overwhelmed, have relationship issues or have cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking mental health can be nerve-racking but you are making the best decision.

The first session will involve creating a warm, comfortable, and safe environment to discuss your reason for seeking mental health care. I will actively listen to you, and together we can create a care plan specifically tailored to help you reach your mental health goals and live a more meaningful life.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I utilize evidence-based cognitive, psychodynamic, interpersonal and supportive psychotherapy methods. I use assessment tools including but to limited to PHQ-9, GAD-7, ASRS, MDQ-9, CIWA and Cage.

My biggest strengths are my ability to be warm, kind, and empathetic, attentively listen and create a safe space to provide therapeutic outcomes.
