Hello! I aim to help you grow through what you go through. I’m someone who truly values depth, authenticity, and connection, and I show up to this work with a lot of curiosity and care. I genuinely want to understand you, not just what you are going through, but how you experience the world. I’m driven by compassion and empathy, and I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship where you feel safe enough to be real, whether that looks messy, uncertain, or still unfolding. I’m not here to judge or “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, connect more deeply with yourself, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. My approach is strengths-based, holistic, and tailored to you as an individual. I draw from modalities like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and parts work, depending on what best fits your needs and goals. I believe in meeting you where you are, validating your experiences, and helping you uncover your own insight, strengths, and direction. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow into the version of yourself that feels most authentic to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will begin with a warm introduction so we can get to know each other. This is your time to share at your own pace, and there is no expectation that you need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We will explore what has brought you to therapy and any challenges or experiences that feel important to your story. This may include current difficulties, as well as past experiences that have shaped how you relate to yourself and others. I will guide the conversation with gentle questions and reflections to help you make sense of your experiences and express what matters most to you. During this session, we will begin to identify your goals and what support might look like in future sessions. This is a collaborative process, and I will work with you to understand your unique needs and priorities. Together, we may also start to notice patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, which helps shape a personalized approach to therapy. The first session is meant to feel like a starting point. It is not about reliving the past but about understanding it in a way that supports growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change. My focus will be on listening carefully, validating your experiences, and helping you feel supported as we begin this work together. By the end of the session, we will have a clearer sense of what you want to focus on in therapy and some initial ideas for strategies or approaches that may help you move forward. The session is designed to leave you feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a sense of possibility for the work ahead. The first session is about connection, understanding, and collaboration. You can expect warmth, curiosity, and empathy as we start this process together, creating a foundation for meaningful growth and self-discovery.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to truly see and understand people on a deeper level. I bring unwavering compassion, empathy, and curiosity to every session, which helps me notice patterns, underlying emotions, and the “why” behind what you are experiencing. I aim to create a safe and nurturing space where you can explore all parts of yourself, including the parts that feel confusing, protective, or difficult to understand, without judgment. I balance deeper, insight-oriented work with practical support, so you are not just processing experiences, but also learning how to navigate them differently in your daily life. As an insightful guide, I walk alongside you with care, helping you uncover your authentic self, connect with your values, set meaningful goals, and recognize your strengths. My goal is for you to feel seen, understood, and inspired to grow in a way that aligns with your true potential.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to explore their inner world, gain insight, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Many come to therapy feeling stuck, anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed by relationship challenges, grief, or experiences related to neurodivergence. They are curious about themselves and want to understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My ideal clients are motivated to grow, willing to reflect, and looking for practical tools alongside deeper insight to help them navigate life more confidently and authentically.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I integrate CBT techniques to support clients in developing greater self-awareness and emotional resilience. I guide clients in identifying and examining cognitive distortions shaped by their experiences, helping them recognize patterns of unhelpful thinking that contribute to distress. Through collaborative exploration, we work to reframe these thoughts, fostering a more balanced and compassionate self-perspective. Additionally, I incorporate CBT-based strategies to build self-acceptance and challenge inner critic narratives, highlighting clients’ strengths and equipping them with coping skills to navigate their experiences with greater clarity and self-compassion.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT interventions, including mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance, to help clients develop a deeper awareness of their emotional experiences and strengthen their ability to manage distress effectively. By integrating these skills, I support clients in navigating intense emotions with greater stability, fostering self-compassion, and enhancing their ability to respond to challenges in a balanced and intentional way. Through mindfulness practices, clients learn to observe their thoughts and emotions without judgment, while emotion regulation strategies empower them to identify, understand, and shift emotional patterns. Distress tolerance techniques provide practical tools to navigate moments of heightened stress, promoting resilience and a sense of control in difficult situations.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I incorporate IFS interventions to support clients in building self-compassion and restoring trust in their inner world. Through this approach, clients learn to recognize and understand their different parts with curiosity and acceptance, rather than judgment. By fostering a compassionate relationship with these parts, we work toward creating harmony within, allowing the Self to take the lead with clarity and confidence. My goal is to help clients cultivate a sense of inner peace and collaboration, where all parts feel heard and valued, and the Self can guide with compassion and strength.

Somatic

Somatic interventions aim to build awareness of how emotions show up in the body and how to connect to the body to encourage regulation on a nervous system level.

Psychodynamic

I aid clients in developing insight regarding their emotions and experiences. I encourage verbalization of feelings and needs to promote processing and mindfulness towards self and emotions. I work to build increased awareness towards triggers, reactions, and thought patterns to guide client in processing their experiences.
