I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, registered art therapist and hold a certificate in Somatic Experiencing. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years. Throughout my career in mental health I have supported individuals in working through trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, loss and life changes. I combine evidenced based skills with building self awareness. We will explore not only thoughts and behavior patterns that have been shaped by experiences but also their impact on the body and nervous system. I have formalized training in the following evidenced based practices: Trauma Focused-CBT, Prolonged Exposure, DBT, Triple P, MAP, Seeking Safety and somatic experiencing. Please reach out if you think my skills could support you on your journey of healing or if you have questions about my approach.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start to get acquainted and look at the specifics of what you want to change and your goals in seeking therapy . Together we will construct a treatment plan to help guide follow-up sessions and ensure we are working on the things that are important to you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

At some point in life we may start to feel less like ourselves, stuck, more bothered by things or may be less able to shake off or move past a change or hurtful experience. Together we can explore where did it all start and what changes can support you in healing and accomplishing your life goals. My focus is to help individuals feel better and to help get their mind, body and actions aligned. I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, registered Art Therapist and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner. I have been working as a clinician for over 15 years in mental health.
