Hello, I am so glad you are here :) I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and have been practicing for 6 years. I help young adults struggling with their identity and sense of self, learn to create the life they want, and love the life they have. My strengths involve: creativity, resourcefulness, sense of humour, ADHD as a superpower, and having walked from Mexico-Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail in 2014.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together will involve us getting to know one another and developing trust and rapport. I will spend the majority of the time listening to your whole story, asking thoughtful questions to help me understand you and your current strengths and struggles.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a real human being, wanting to connect with the real you, with no judgement or expectations. I bring my whole self into the room, helping you to feel comfortable and at ease bringing your whole self into the room as well. I am a very visual person with ADHD, so I often use creative imagery, with a side of humor to make sessions fun and engaging for both of us! I love what I do, and I am always so honored and humbled to be a part of my clients healing journeys.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) for treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other conditions where internal conflict and fragmented self-perception are present. This modality encourages a deep, compassionate understanding of oneself and promotes lasting inner healing. I utilize a non-pathologizing approach to foster a healing dialogue between your 'Self' and your parts, and encourage integration of your various parts into a cohesive and harmonious whole, leading to improved mental health and well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize the following tools to help you change problematic patterns of thinking or behavior: Cognitive Restructuring or Reframing, Behavioral Activation, Exposure Therapy, Activity Scheduling and Planning, Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques, Problem-Solving Skills, Journaling or Thought Records, Role-Playing, Decatastrophizing, Socratic Questioning, Imagery-Based Techniques.

Transpersonal

I utilize Transpersonal Therapy for those experiencing existential crises, and anyone interested in exploring the deeper dimensions of their consciousness and existence. This holistic approach encourages us to focus on helping you reach your highest potential and understand the deeper meaning of your existence by integrating your spiritual beliefs with psychological healing.
