Taking the first step towards therapy takes courage and you don't have to do it alone. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward healing and growth. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I have extensive experience working with adults facing anxiety, depression, Complex trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, domestic violence, severe mental health needs. I specialize in helping clients who have spent years putting everyone else's needs first. Many of my clients struggle with chronic stress, people-pleasing, perfectionism, family conflict, low self esteem, and/or the lasting effects of childhood or relationship trauma. Together, we'll work to understand these patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence based practices, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based interventions, and neuroscience-informed concepts to help client understand how trauma and chronic stress affect the brain and nervous system. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival mode and build lasting resilience. Together, we'll begin identifying the patterns, stressors, or past experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges. I'll also explain how trauma, chronic stress, and the life experiences can affect the brain, emotions, and nervous system, helping you understand that many of your reactions are normal responses to difficult experiences.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you've been carrying emotional pain on your own for a long time. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgement-free space where you can share at your own pace, During our fist session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to achieve. There is no pressure to share every detail of your experiences right away-we will move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. We'll discuss your strengths, supports, and goal for therapy, and we'll create a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and value. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive. I believe healing happens when you feel heard, respected, and empowered. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I understand the unique experiences of Hispanic and Latino individuals navigating cultural expectations, family responsibilities, and intergenerational stress. I strive to provide culturally affirming care where clients feel understood without having to explain their cultural experiences. I help bilingual Latinos heal from trauma, anxiety, and generational patterns using neuroscience-informed, culturally responsive therapy. For clients who wish, I also integrate Christian faith into the healing process. If you would like to incorporate your Christian faith into therapy, I am happy to thoughtfully integrate biblical principles and your spiritual beliefs into the counseling process. This is always guided by your preferences and is never required. Whether you are healing from trauma, navigating anxiety, strengthening relationships, or seeking greater emotional balance, I would be honored to support you in your journey toward healing and hope.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am passionate about serving Hispanic and Latino communities. I am looking forward to helping adult children of immigrant families that struggle with first generation identity conflict, parentification, and impostor syndrome, intergenerational trauma including machismo/marianismo, domestic violence survivors in Hispanic communities, undocumented or mixed-status family stress, caregiver burnout, and anxiety in multigenerational households. My ideal client is a bilingual or English speaking adult seeking healing from trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, or unhealthy relationship patterns. They may feel overwhelm by family responsibilities, people-pleasing, or cultural expectations and are ready to build healthier boundaries, regulate their nervous system, and create lasting emotional healing. Faith integration is available upon request.
