New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping adolescents and adults work through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and stress. My background includes working with adolescents in school settings since 1996 and supporting adults in inpatient behavioral health care. Through my private practice, I provide individualized care in a supportive and collaborative environment where clients can feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and goals. I use a strengths-based and cognitive-behavioral approach to help clients identify their existing strengths, develop practical coping strategies, improve communication, and build confidence in managing life's challenges. Together, we will create a plan that supports meaningful growth and lasting change.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it's normal to feel unsure about what to expect. During our first session, we'll talk about what has brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope will be different in your life as a result of our work together. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. I'll ask questions to learn more about your experiences, strengths, and goals, but there is no pressure to share more than you're ready to discuss. Together, we'll begin developing a plan that aligns with your needs and helps you move toward meaningful growth and lasting change. Most importantly, the first session is about building a connection and making sure you feel supported as we begin this journey together.
I bring a combination of compassion, authenticity, and practical problem-solving to my sessions. My professional experience has given me insight into the challenges faced by adolescents, adults, parents, and individuals navigating major life transitions. In addition, my own life experiences have deepened my understanding of resilience, personal growth, family dynamics, relationship challenges, and the process of rebuilding after difficult experiences.
Adolescents are a particular passion of mine, and I enjoy helping teens navigate the challenges of school, friendships, family relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and life transitions. I also work well with adults who are seeking support during difficult periods of life or looking to make meaningful changes in their relationships, emotional well-being, or daily functioning. I am best positioned to serve clients who are ready to better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and take active steps toward their goals.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping clients create meaningful change. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, build on their strengths, and develop effective strategies for managing life's challenges. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I work with clients to identify realistic goals, recognize their resilience, and take manageable steps toward the life they want to create.
