I am a licensed professional counselor and board certified art therapist.
I am here to listen to fully understand your needs and develop a meaningful and strong therapeutic relationship so that you can feel ready and confident in achieving your goals.
First session
I have a thorough intake process to ensure that I fully understand your presenting problems, needs, and any goals you are looking to achieve in therapy. Throughout my experience as a clinician, faster progress is typically shown in clients who show up motivated for therapy through being their fully authentic self. This requires sharing moments of vulnerability when expressing feelings, and putting in effort to do the work outside of sessions.
Strengths
Whether you are facing the complexity of a life transition, dealing with something traumatic, or simply seeking guidance on your journey, I am here to support you every step of the way. I strive to hold a nonjudgmental space to allow yourself to feel safe to open up and explore the depths of your emotions.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are motivated and ready to begin their journey towards becoming a more improved version of themselves. It is okay to feel unsure about where to start, or lack the proper tools and support needed for success. Come as you are, and try to have openness towards self-growth to learn how to build sustainable habits that will support long-term improvement.
