I am licensed clinical social worker in Maryland, and I am a certified complementary and integrative mental health provider. I approach mental health treatment from an ecological and holistic model of care and believe your body and mind are always reaching for healing and homeostasis. I will work with you to determine the root cause of your symptoms. I am willing to teach you about integrative treatments to support your total wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions and then move onto what brings you to seek support. I will ask questions about your total wellness to understand you more deeply and we will begin to tailor a plan together to optimize both, your mind & body.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having experience in complementary and alternative medicine, I have a different perspective that leads to mental wellness. I like sharing ideas and learning from clients what works for them and building from that space.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients from any life stage and who are ready to grow from who they were yesterday.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The fundamentals of recognizing cognition patterns will go a long way to support transformation towards positive mental health goals. Understanding the cognitive triangle, what are cognitive distortions, and putting your thoughts on trial are my go-to interventions to complement work you might already do for positive mental health.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Emotional validation is the last things we typically allow ourselves whenever we have strong emotions. I use this intervention from DBT as a way to employ positive self-talk.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution focused therapy is a way to navigate history and present changes. I will typically use ideas from this modality when we start each session to highlight the progress between sessions.
