Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that first step feel as comfortable as possible. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I work with adolescents and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and emotional regulation difficulties. Many of my clients are used to feeling overwhelmed, overthinking, struggling to keep up with responsibilities, or wondering why things that seem easy for others feel so much harder. Together, we'll work to better understand what's contributing to those challenges while building practical skills that fit your life and your goals. I believe therapy is most effective when it is personalized. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to each client's strengths, experiences, and values. My style is compassionate, direct, and collaborative, balancing support with practical strategies that help you create meaningful and lasting change. As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I value creating an inclusive, affirming environment where clients feel respected and understood. Whether you're looking to improve relationships, manage ADHD or anxiety, navigate a difficult transition, or simply gain a better understanding of yourself, you don't have to do it alone. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with tools you can begin using in your everyday life. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward greater well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at a pace that feels right for you. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will ask questions about your personal history, relationships, strengths, and the experiences that have shaped where you are today. This helps me understand the full picture while also giving you the opportunity to ask questions and decide whether I am the right fit for you. Together, we will identify your goals and develop a plan that is tailored to your unique needs. My approach is collaborative, practical, and personalized. I want you to leave each session feeling supported, understood, and equipped with tools or strategies that you can begin using in your daily life. It is completely normal to feel nervous before your first appointment. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. Whether you are seeking support for ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable while building meaningful and lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect. My goal is to meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. My approach is both compassionate and practical. While exploring thoughts, emotions, and past experiences is an important part of therapy, I also believe clients benefit from leaving sessions with a better understanding of themselves and concrete strategies they can begin using in everyday life. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, and develop skills that support lasting growth. I recognize that every client brings a unique story, set of strengths, and life experiences. Rather than using a one size fits all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, and values. I encourage open communication and view therapy as a partnership where your voice and perspective are essential to the process. Clients often appreciate that I balance empathy with honesty. I will validate your experiences while also gently challenging unhelpful patterns and encouraging new ways of thinking when appropriate. My goal is not to tell you what to do, but to help you develop the insight, confidence, and tools to make decisions that align with the life you want to create. As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to create an inclusive environment where clients from diverse backgrounds feel respected and understood. I value cultural humility and recognize the importance of understanding each person's unique experiences and identity. Whether you are managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or difficulties with emotional regulation, I am committed to providing thoughtful, personalized care. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, empowered, and equipped with practical tools that help you make meaningful progress both inside and outside of therapy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adolescents and adults who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and are ready to make meaningful, lasting changes. Many of my clients are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, or difficulties with emotional regulation. They often describe feeling overwhelmed, overthinking, struggling with self doubt, or feeling stuck in patterns they want to change. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who value a collaborative approach and are looking for more than just someone to listen. They want practical tools, greater self awareness, and strategies they can apply in their daily lives. Whether your goal is to improve focus, strengthen relationships, build healthier coping skills, manage emotions more effectively, or increase confidence, we will work together to create a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. I have a special interest in supporting individuals with ADHD and executive functioning challenges, helping them better understand how their brains work while developing systems and skills that support success at home, school, work, and in relationships. I also enjoy helping clients navigate anxiety, perfectionism, and major life transitions with greater confidence and self compassion. My practice is inclusive, neurodiversity affirming, and culturally responsive. I strive to create a space where every client feels respected, understood, and valued. As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish. If you are looking for a warm, collaborative, and practical therapist who is committed to helping you create meaningful change, I would be honored to support you on your journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we'll identify patterns that are keeping you stuck and practice practical skills that help you respond to challenges with greater confidence and flexibility.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT skills to help clients build emotional resilience, improve relationships, and navigate difficult situations more effectively. Together, we'll learn practical techniques for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness that can be applied in everyday life.

Christian Counseling

For clients who find strength in their Christian faith, I offer the option to thoughtfully integrate biblical principles and faith based perspectives into therapy. Whether or not faith is part of your counseling experience is always your choice, and treatment is tailored to your individual preferences, values, and goals.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is an important part of my approach because I believe understanding the "why" behind your experiences can be empowering. Whether we are exploring ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, or relationships, I help clients better understand how their minds work so they can respond with greater confidence, self compassion, and intention.

Trauma Informed Care

I provide trauma informed care by recognizing how past experiences can shape thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily functioning. My approach emphasizes safety, trust, collaboration, and compassion while helping clients build resilience at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
