LPC, 4 years of experience
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in CT and AK (pending). I graduated from Capella University with a Masters of Science (mental health counseling). I am currently working with adults with a variety of stressors: ADHD, anxiety, depression, motivation, disabilities, chronic illness, grief/loss and other phase of life issues in a trauma-informed, multicultural awareness, strength-based orientation using a variety of tools customized to the client.
In our first session, we will get comfortable with each other and identify the first issue(s) to address. From there we will collaborate on how best to begin the action for change based on your motivation.
I bring to the therapeutic space an unconditional acceptance of who you are in this moment. I believe that this is essential for healing and growth work. I believe that you are capable of the wellness you desire and I love helping you and others discover the hidden wisdoms that are inside us all.
I enjoy working with a variety of people from adulthood to end of lifespan. As a person who with a variety of life experiences, I enjoy getting to know each individual as a whole, and not just viewing them by their issue of the moment.

Christian Twitty is a very warm and welcoming person . She’s patient and takes her time to get to know you. She made me feel safe and comfortable enough to talk about hard topics and guided me through those conversations. When it comes to things I tend to struggle with, We brainstorm ideas to makes the challenges I face seem more manageable.

Christine is amazing! She helps you come to the solutions yourself instead of pushing her ideas on you. She's very nice and caring and you can tell she is authentic.

I identify my treatment method as eclectic because I do not limit myself to one approach. As I consider the needs of the client, I look to see what approaches I have some training in to assist the client towards their goals. I am person centered and believe that each person is unique in how they experience the world and the stories they tell about themselves and what they believe. I bring into the therapeutic alliance a respect for strengths, trauma-informed, cultural sensitivity, stages of change, collaboration and mind-body-spirit orientations. I have skills in CBT, Narrative therapy, ACT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, positive psychology and shamanic skills.
