New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist in New York and New Jersey with over four years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. My style is warm, direct, and supportive. I believe in helping clients better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and make meaningful changes while feeling heard and supported along the way.
During our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. I will ask about your personal history, current concerns, and goals for treatment to better understand your experiences and needs. I will also share more about my therapeutic approach, explain what to expect from the therapy process, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we will begin developing a plan that supports your goals and helps you move toward change.
One of the strengths I bring to therapy is my ability to notice patterns, themes, and underlying dynamics that may not be immediately apparent. Through our conversations, I can often help connect experiences, emotions, and behaviors in ways that provide new insight and understanding. At times, this process may feel challenging, as it can involve exploring difficult emotions or perspectives that have been overlooked. However, I approach these moments with support, curiosity, and respect.
I work best with individuals who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. My specialties include helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and patterns rooted in past experiences. I am particularly well suited for those who are reflective, curious, and willing to get comfortable with the uncomfortable as they explore the underlying causes of emotional difficulties.
