Hello there, I am Amy Erdèlyi, LCSW. I work with adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, often after trauma, loss, or prolonged stress. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside while struggling internally with anxiety, grief, or emotional exhaustion. Therapy with me is a supportive, non-judgmental space to slow down, process what you’ve been carrying, and rebuild a sense of stability and self-trust. My work is client-centered and trauma-informed, meaning therapy is guided by your needs, goals, and pace. My work focuses on helping clients understand their patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and process difficult experiences using a range of evidence-based approaches. Together, we focus on reducing overwhelming symptoms, improving emotional regulation, and building coping strategies that feel realistic and sustainable in your daily life.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you’d like support with. I’ll explain confidentiality, my approach, and possible treatment options. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. If we feel it’s a good fit, we’ll create a plan together to support your goals.
I have worked with many individuals, youth, and families with anxiety and depression. I will help you navigate and make sense of those traumas that have affected you and the symptoms they bring up in your life. I will help you find coping strategies that will help to reduce those symptoms that work for you. I also work with those who have experienced loss of a loved one, relationship, or spouse/partner. I help you to normalize the grief process and find meaning in the life of those who have passed away, and validate those feelings of overwhelm and the grief process.
I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and their lives. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or long-standing emotional patterns that no longer serve them. Some are high-functioning on the outside but internally struggling, while others feel exhausted from carrying too much for too long. My ideal client is open to looking inward, even if it feels uncomfortable at times. They don’t need to have everything figured out; they just need a willingness to explore, reflect, and try something different. Together, we focus on building insight, emotional regulation, and practical tools so they can feel more grounded, confident, and aligned in their daily lives.

We have only met two times but I am really liking Amy. I'm looking forward to getting deeper with her. She is knowledgeable and understanding. Very professional. Get right to the point so we can make the most of the time but I don't feel rushed. I like that because we aren't wasting time. I'm glad I found her
