My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Teach clients to identify negative thought patterns (e.g., all-or-nothing thinking, catastrophizing). Use thought diaries or worksheets to document these thoughts. Use open-ended questions to help clients examine the evidence for and against their beliefs. Encourage them to consider alternative perspectives. Assist clients in developing more balanced and realistic thoughts.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing (MI) is a client-centered approach that enhances motivation for change by expressing empathy, developing discrepancy between current behaviors and goals, rolling with resistance, and supporting self-efficacy, using techniques like open-ended questions and reflective listening, while tailoring strategies to the client's stage of change and collaboratively creating actionable plans.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) is an approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma on individuals and emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment by prioritizing trust, empowerment, and collaboration, understanding the signs of trauma, integrating this awareness into all aspects of care, and promoting healing by fostering resilience and providing appropriate resources and support.
