Hello, I am Elizabeth Kelly, a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in working with individual adult clients aged 18 and older. If you are seeking help with working through grief, loss, difficult changes, anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, aging challenges or any other issues that may be hard to overcome alone, I am here to help you through. I follow a client-centered approach, meaning that I believe that you have the internal strength and ability to grow. Together, we will create goals to best serve you. I will listen to your concerns and provide coping skills and resources to help you through your difficult situations.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, I will gather information and history to help me understand what you have been experiencing. We will create goals for change and begin implementing tools and skills to help you grow. I will focus on what you wish to focus on in each session.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I will provide a safe space for you to process your thoughts and feelings. I utilize person-centered, cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches as well as interventions from a variety of therapeutic approaches. I also give you tools to utilize between sessions so that you can begin to cope adaptively.

I chose this profession to help others overcome difficulties. I understand that we all have had unique experiences and that we all have the ability to heal.
