Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I've been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. I help people identify their triggers, delve into their past to learn about how their thoughts affect their behaviors. I try to help people feel confident in their ability to overcome life's challenges and normalize emotions. My clients gain insight into themselves and learn how to effectively cope with emotional reactions to different situations, which improves their mental well-being.
In our first session, I like to learn about why you're seeking counseling so we can identify goals and then make a plan to work towards meeting those goals.
Having worked in the field with a variety of presenting problems, my greatest strength is the ability to listen and normalize human emotion. Too often clients think there is "something wrong" with them because emotions can be uncomfortable. Sometimes people need to know that it is okay to feel what they feel.
