I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California and a proud first-generation Mexican American. I received my master's degree from the University of Houston and bring both professional knowledge and personal perspective to the work I do. I am passionate about walking alongside others in their healing and growth journey. I understand that therapy is not “one size fits all,” and I strive to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. My hope is to be the right match for you as we explore challenges, build resilience, and work toward the changes you seek.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll introduce ourselves and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll answer any questions, explain my approach, and we’ll begin identifying your challenges and goals to create a plan for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My goal is always to meet you where you are. I truly believe you are the expert of your own life, and I am simply here to support and guide you through your own unique process. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from ages 1 to 65, and bring a range of tools and approaches to best support your needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals navigating the unique experiences of being first-generation, exploring relationship challenges, life changes, and breaking through generational patterns. I also bring experience in supporting children and families with their mental health needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’m passionate about helping individuals uncover how their thoughts shape their emotions and behaviors, using proven Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to create lasting positive change.

Strength-Based

I believe in empowering individuals by helping them recognize and build on their unique strengths, enabling them to navigate challenges with confidence and resilience.

Narrative

I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they tell about themselves and their lives. Often, we carry stories shaped by past experiences, culture, or other people’s expectations—and sometimes those stories can limit how we see ourselves. In our work together, we’ll look at those narratives, identify what’s no longer serving you, and begin rewriting them in a way that reflects your values, strengths, and hopes. This approach helps you reconnect with your voice and take a more empowered role in your life.
