My name is Michelle and I have been a psychotherapist for the last 17 years. I have a deep passion for the field of mental health and supporting my clients in finding a healthy, more peaceful path for themselves. I am genuine and direct in my approach with therapy, and I also use humor at times.

First session
During our first session I want to help you get comfortable with what our sessions will look like and develop a clearer understanding of what is bringing you into treatment.
Strengths
I am quickly able to develop an understanding of my clients' needs and demonstrate understanding through reflection and validation. I play an active role in sessions and help my clients develop deeper insight into their struggles and strengths.

Additionally, these symptoms can make interpersonal relationships, work, self-care and organization challenging. Together we can navigate these hurdles and get to a place where you feel better about yourself and what's happening around you.

I use DBT in sessions to provide effective strategies and concepts that help a patient understand their symptoms as well as ways to cope. DBT is patient friendly and widely used in the field of psychotherapy.
Strength-Based
Therapy can be a daunting experience if it only focuses on problems or the negatives. Looking at strengths can help create hope and balance in sessions.
