New to Grow
Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents, young adults and adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationships and life transitions. I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, helping clients identify what is already working and build practical strategies for moving forward. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. Together, we focus on achievable goals, build confidence, and develop skill that lead to meaningful, lasting change.
During our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and establishing a therapeutic relationship. I will learn why you have chosen to seek out therapy, what is already working in your life, and what you are looking to improve. Together, we will beging to identify goals and small, manageable steps toward change. My approrach is collaborative and solution-focused, so you can expect a supportive, non-judgemental space where we focus on your strengths and create a clear path forward.
My therapeutic approach focuses on strengths, progress and practical change. I use a solution-focused, brief therapy model, which means we spend less time staying stuck in problems and more time identifying what's already working and how to build on it. My methods are collaborative and goal-oriented. I use strategies such as setting small achievable goals so clients can see progress quickly. Clients typically leave sessions feeling more hopeful, confident and equipped with tools they can use immediately. Over time this leads to improved coping strategies, increased self-awareness, and meaningful, lasting changes in how they handle changes.
I work best with adolescents, young adults, and/or adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, school or work related stress, peer relationships, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of how to move forward, but are open to building practical skills and creating positive change that can last. Together we can make that a reality.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In my counseling practice I regularly utilize Solution Focused Brief Treatment to help clients identify their strengths and build strategies for change. Rather than focusing extensively on problems or past challenges, I guide clients to envision their preferred future and set achievable, short-term goals.
