Hello! Do you feel a need to improve yourself, your relationships, or our life but find it is unclear or hard not to fall back into old patterns? This is especially true if you a part of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities as getting support and building community does not come with a guide and can change as you change. If anxiety, chronic pain, health concerns, or other life challenges have changed your life and you’re tired of not feeling like yourself, I’m here to help. I’m a licensed mental health counselor with nearly two decades of experience supporting others through life’s challenges.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years in management and supervision within the medical field. Helping others was always the most meaningful part of my work, which led me to a second career in counseling. I bring a broad perspective and understanding of both the personal and practical challenges people face.
I believe that if every human being had someone to provide them with unconditional positive regard, especially during the formative years of childhood, our world would be a safer place. Unfortunately, many of us don’t even make it through childhood without wounds from emotionally painful experiences. Sometimes the consequences of these experiences are long-lasting and can impact our well-being, relationships, and work. Fortunately, therapy can help. I have worked in community and university settings for the past 9 years, and I have experience treating a variety of mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, trauma, marriage/family issues, and communication challenges.
Welcome to my profile. I'm a clinical social worker licensed in Maryland and Pennsylvania. I also have a PhD in psychology, a clinical trauma certification, and am a 200-hr trained yoga instructor. My passion in life is to learn and understand things so that I can pass it on to others in a practical way to help improve lives and relationships.
My doctoral dissertation focused on mindfulness and adult romantic partner conflict. As a military spouse myself, I am uniquely positioned to support military partners and spouses through relationship challenges. Additionally, I particularly enjoy to support healing professionals including therapists, nurses, reiki teachers, and massage therapists.
I specialize in supporting teenagers, college students, adults, and exhausted parents as they work through major life transitions. Whatever you are experiencing, your feelings make complete sense—and together, we can figure out a clearer path forward.
Life rarely comes with a clear roadmap, and simply managing your daily checklist can sometimes feel like an uphill battle. Whether you are navigating self-doubt, feeling hijacked by anxiety, or realizing that your usual ways of coping with stress or anger are no longer working, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here and making this decision to try something new (and maybe a little scary!)
Current availability is mornings/early afternoons at this time (no late afternoon or evening availability).
Therapy can truly be a sacred space. It's a place that can absolutely change your life, if you allow your self the time and space to heal. My focus is to see you as uniquely you: the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly. I believe we all have inherent value and worth, and I strive to see this in every single person, including you! We may have some changes we need to make and some behaviors we have to part ways with, but through this healing journey, I want you to know how valued and loved you are. To embrace life again like we were meant to. To forgive others and learn to let go. To change what you can and find peace with what you can't.
I operate from a trauma-informed perspective - recognizing how the past has changed the way we see ourselves and those around us. I look at how early life experiences impact our relationships, attachments, emotions, motivation, and joy. I incorporate mindfulness to help with regulation and utilize psychoeducation to understand that what happened in the past can't be changed, but we have the ability to pursue healing and growth regardless.
I am self-pay only for couples sessions ($125/session).
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping people heal, grow, and cultivate self-love. I support clients in building confidence, overcoming anxiety or low self-worth, and transforming challenges into personal empowerment. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master’s degree from Penn State University and have had the privilege of working with individuals facing challenges related to mental health, substance use, and employment struggles. My goal is to help clients become the best versions of themselves by providing a compassionate, empathetic space to explore their current challenges. Together, we can work to uncover the root causes of your struggles and develop a personalized plan to create meaningful, positive changes in your life.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I really enjoy helping people navigate the challenges of changing and maintaining roles in life---exploring young adulthood, finding and maintaining your own identity as a parent, how to create a life worth living in whatever stage you are in. I feel like I am very open, non judgmental, eager to learn, empathetic and understanding. And funny!
I am a gender affirming therapist. I am an ally in the LGB and TNC Communities, always keeping my eyes and ears open to find ways to improve my allyship. The current political climate is traumatic and oppressive to members of these Communities as well as many other Communities that are typically considered marginalized. I want to create space in session to discuss how that may be affecting you or retraumatizing you.
I am very comfortable with working with those who use self harm as a coping mechanism--there is no shame or expectation you must stop when you engage in therapy. I'm fine with talking about suicide, whether it's your own personal experience of trying to find a life worth living, your experience of supporting someone who lives with suicide in their life, or grief around experiences of suicide. I do not believe inpatient hospitalization is an effective treatment for those experiencing suicide and do everything I can as a therapist to keep people out of the hospital when in suicidal crisis.
I do believe therapy is political. I am social justice focused, continuing to do my own anti-racism work. I believe in Health at Every Size. I believe that our environment and what we experience in life has a profound affect on us and must be discussed in therapy.
Being a therapist has seemed like a natural progression for me. I have always been able to easily relate to others and meet them where they are. I have taken my own struggles and used them to help make myself stronger and be able to gain insight into how to help others who may be struggling. I think anyone can benefit through the self-exploration that comes with therapy. I find it rewarding to see the progress people are capable of and to help them see the progress themselves.
I have many years of experience working with children and families as well as adults and couples. I have worked with individuals and families with children as young as 3 with a variety of concerns. I am a trauma-informed therapist who is trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy to treat PTSD symptoms. I am trained in different approaches. I have experiencing with LGBTQIA individuals. I also use TTRPG's in therapy setting.
I provide therapy that is non-judgemental and I seek to meet each person individually and see what they are experiencing and then build from there to solve or change. I’m here to provide you with the support you need to feel better than when we first begin.
My name is Sam Hunter. I have been working in the field of Mental Health Treatment for the past 8 years. I have been trained in DBT treatment through intensive DBT training for the past 6 years. I had further training 3 years ago and became fully trained in Prolonged Exposure treatment for clients suffering with PTSD. Hi, I'm Marjorie, an experienced clinical social worker, licensed in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My specialties include working with adults from varied backgrounds, identities, and cultures who suffer from symptoms of depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and/or mood disorders.
There may be times in your life when you are struggling. Perhaps you are overwhelmed with anxiety or depression which is interfering with your day-to-day living and/or work. Perhaps you are experiencing unhappiness in important relationships, or you are resorting to unhealthy ways of coping such as self-isolation, disordered eating, self-harm activities, or other self-sabotaging behaviors. You may generally feel "less than," or feel as if you don't fit in, feel conflicted about your identity, feel debilitated by worry, fears or depressive symptoms, and/or may be suffering from loss of significant relationships.
The "work" of therapy can offer relief from painful symptoms and conflicts while addressing your particular patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, particularly those that are holding you back from a more productive and fulfilling life.
My goal is to listen and work with you to understand your unique experiences, identify patterns of underlying thoughts and feelings about yourself and others, examine how your past may have informed your present, and provide a safe space for you to explore yourself. Together we will identify those patterns that are not working for you to find strategies, personal to you, to overcome them.
My therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic approaches and often include DBT practices such as mindfulness and guided meditation techniques.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can feel comfortable being yourself, feel truly heard, and talk openly without judgment. With over 16 years of experience working with adults, I know reaching out for support can feel difficult, and I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you can start wherever you are. My approach is genuine, collaborative, and down-to-earth, and I’ll work alongside you as you process past experiences, navigate current challenges, build healthier skills, and create meaningful changes that help you feel better and move forward.

How much of your life is spent waiting to feel confident enough to live it?
I’m Fred, a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults struggling with anxiety, addiction, relationship difficulties, and major life stress. My practice is direct, collaborative, and practical. I draw primarily from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches.
A lot of people come to therapy believing they need more confidence, more clarity, or more certainty before they can move forward. Often, confidence is built differently: by learning to act, adapt, and make meaningful decisions even while doubt, anxiety, and difficult emotions are still present. Together, we’ll work on changing the patterns that keep you stuck and building the flexibility and confidence to move toward the life you want.
I am committed to guiding you through life's challenges. I enjoy creating a therapeutic space without judgment and I utilize a conversation-based method to build therapeutic rapport. Are you struggling with relationship issues or coping with anxiety? Do you have ADHD, depression, or facing significant life stressors or changes? These are all areas I specialize in as a clinical therapist.
My work focuses particularly on spirituality, addiction, and concerns related to sex and pornography addiction. I bring a wide range of life experiences into my work and offer a relaxed, approachable presence in each session. We’ve all received messages throughout our lives—some that have supported us and others that have caused harm. Together, we can begin to sort through those experiences and let go of what no longer serves you. I take a holistic approach, recognizing that we are more than just our minds, and I intentionally integrate the body and spirituality into the work. My background is in progressive Christianity, while remaining open and respectful of all spiritual paths. I believe people grow most effectively in relationship—with support, insight, and accountability guiding the process.

I’m Cindy, a psychotherapist who believes that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves. I work with individuals struggling with addiction and its impact on loved ones, depression, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and those navigating life’s transitions or searching for a greater sense of meaning and purpose.
Sometimes we repeat patterns that no longer serve us, carrying negative beliefs about ourselves without fully understanding where they came from. Together, we can explore those patterns, uncover their origins, and begin to see ourselves and our lives differently.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe that feeling safe enough to be honest about who we are, including the parts we’d rather hide, is essential to healing. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know where to begin.
Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, recovering from painful experiences, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, discover new possibilities, and build a life you no longer feel the need to escape from.
As a clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience, I can serve as your guide whether you are facing chronic painful feelings such as anxiety or depression, a major life transition, or a recent or past life altering trauma. I believe psychotherapy is a great deal more than "just talking." I earned my BA in Asian Languages and Civilizations at Amherst College in Massachusetts and my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Boston University. I lived in Japan for about 10 years.
Each individual presents with unique experiences and challenges. My aim is to meet you where you are at and help you reach the next personal goal you have set whether it be self-discovery or coping with various challenges. I help by bringing humor and empathic listening to every session. I aim to understand your experience in your eyes and feel what you feel. I hope to help you see that others can help you through the challenges that you are facing.
My goal is to help bring a strong connection to the time you spend with me in therapy. The connection made in therapy can lead to strong bonds in your personal life and better decision-making. Through a person-centered and solution-focused approach, we will be able to help you process trauma or discover the person you aspire to be.

Hello, and welcome! My introduction to the counseling field began while working within therapeutic group homes that served children through adults experiencing mental health struggles. This experience, both enriching and meaningful, inspired my interest in pursuing counseling. I was deeply moved by the varying degrees of challenging life experiences that we are all tasked with navigating and the ways we attempt to cope, gain insight from, and hopefully transform our adverse circumstances. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University and since, I’ve had the opportunity to assist a diverse range of clients in both inpatient treatment and outpatient therapy settings, and more recently, at a college counseling clinic at the University of Montana. Within these programs, I’ve helped clients address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, academic challenges, relationships, identity changes, sexuality, and general life stressors.
I am grateful that I can work to help individuals navigate the evolving nature of their lives by providing unconditional positive regard, encouragement, and supportive guidance.

Clients my training and background would most benefit are those experiencing difficulty in their relationships with their children, parents, spouses, co-workers or other significant people in their lives; those whose anxiety or depression is holding them back, and those who are willing to work to reach their true potential.
I earned my MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago concentrating in mental health and have helped people in complicated and difficult situations ever since.
I am a doctoral-level licensed Clinical Psychologist in Pennsylvania. I received my Ph.D. from Eastern Michigan University, and I have been doing therapy and assessment for over twenty years in a variety of settings, both with younger adults and mature adults. Hi! I'm Jen Tucker, a licensed mental health counselor who is passionate about serving others. I'm a military veteran and a military spouse. I'm also a wife, mom, and grandmother. I've been through a lot in my life. Most of you have too. After all, you find yourself here looking for something.
It is my firm belief that each and every one of us has tremendous potential. We all have unique talents and skills, honed and sharpened through our life experiences. These experiences, while crucial to shaping us, can also leave us hurt, confused, numb, or insecure. It is paramount that we stop along our journey to take stock, address our needs, heal, and refocus. Sometimes, we realize we may benefit from having extra support or guidance through these moments. That is where therapy can help.
Throughout my counseling career, I have had the privilege of being able to walk beside clients as they process the past, learn to be comfortable in the present, and get excited for the future. I am certified in trauma and treat clients with a wide range of concerns. Whether you feel ready to dive into therapy, or you are just contemplating the idea, I'd love to hear from you.
I am currently accepting video clients for individual therapy.
If you aren't ready to make contact, I have some resources available for self-reflection. Check out my blog at NotWavingButDrowning.org or my TikTok @MHMinute, where you'll find videos on a variety of mental health topics.
