I’m a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), offering telehealth-based art therapy for teens (13+) and adults across Ohio. My approach is rooted in a humanistic philosophy, with a strong focus on creativity, mindfulness, and values-based living. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their inner world, reconnect with what matters most, and develop more compassionate, flexible ways of moving through life’s challenges. In our sessions, we’ll use art-making and visual reflection to slow down, tune in, and explore what’s showing up with curiosity and care. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in clinical mental health training, incorporating evidence-based practices to support insight and emotional resilience — while honoring the deeply human and healing power of creative expression. I also hold an inclusive, socially aware perspective, recognizing how identity, environment, and lived experience shape our inner landscapes, and how creative work can help us navigate and reclaim those stories. Art has always been a meaningful outlet for me, and it’s a privilege to help others discover that same sense of clarity and self-connection. You don’t need to be an artist to benefit from this process; just a willingness to show up, get a little curious, and trust that insight can come in many forms.

Reaching out for help in the form of therapy is not an easy thing to do as many can attest, but by reading this biography, you are taking the first step in getting help for yourself or a loved one. At times, life offers many struggles and obstacles that can be difficult to overcome alone. Engaging in therapy will provide opportunities to explore and process the thoughts and feelings that prevent you from living your best life. Though the thought of therapy may be intimidating and even nerve-wrecking for some, I believe once a person finds the right therapist, they find a trusting confidant who seeks to understand and problem solve.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Ohio rather than a city like Columbus?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Ohio from Cincinnati to Cleveland! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Ohio.

Will my therapist take Anthem?

Yes! If you use Anthem you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have Anthem you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on LGBTQ?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, LGBTQ, is filtering therapists in Ohio that work with patients with similar concerns.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
