You do not have to carry life’s challenges alone. Whether you are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, healing is possible, and you deserve support that meets you where you are.
I specialize in helping older adolescents ages 16 to 17 and adults navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and provide an inclusive, culturally responsive environment where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self. Every person has a unique story, which is why I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than taking a one size fits all approach. Using evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, person centered therapy, strengths based therapy, and trauma informed care, we will work together to build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we will work toward helping you achieve meaningful, lasting change and a greater sense of confidence, balance, and well being.
When life feels heavy, it's easy to feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or the direction you want your life to take. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, grief, or major life transitions—and unsure of how to move forward.

You may have experienced therapy before and know what it is like to have a space to talk. My work offers something a little different.
I work with women who are often the ones others depend on the mothers, caregivers, professionals, helpers, and women who have learned how to keep things moving even when they are carrying a lot themselves.
You do not have to be in crisis to want therapy. You may be grieving, navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed or anxious, questioning what no longer fits, or simply wanting a space where nothing is being asked of you.
As a Black woman and therapist, I am especially intentional about creating space for Black women and other women of color to speak freely without having to translate or minimize their experiences.
You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. We can begin with where you are.

You’ve worked hard, built a life, found success, and checked many of the boxes you thought you were supposed to check, yet you still find yourself wondering, “Is this it?” Maybe you’ve spent years showing up for everyone else, putting their needs first, and being the person others could count on. Now, you’re ready to focus on yourself, redefine who you are, and discover what you want this next chapter of your life to look like. Together, we’ll build on what’s already working to help you find greater purpose, direction, and a life that feels meaningful to you.
If you’re a young adult, you may have followed the path expected of you and still feel unsure about where you’re headed or where you fit. Our work can help you build confidence, find your own path, and create a life that feels right for you, not just one that looks right on paper.
I am Ebony Yelder, LPC. My career has taken me into many different settings, including behavioral health hospitals, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, in-home therapy, and work with the Department of Defense supporting service members and their families. Each experience has shaped the way I practice today and reinforced something I continue to believe people often have more strength, resilience, and resources within them than they realize.

Welcome to Dr. Mitchell’s Safe and Brave Space
I began my career in social services in 1995, working with children, youth, and families often labeled as “at-risk”—many of whom were impacted by substance use, poverty, child abuse, and neglect. Over time, my commitment to equity and justice led me to the field of social work, where I continue to center the person-in-environment perspective and actively support antiracist policies, ideas, and actions.
This work is grounded in an acknowledgment that we live and practice on the stolen lands of Indigenous peoples, and that much of the wealth and infrastructure of this nation was built through the unpaid labor and enduring suffering of enslaved Africans. I honor these histories and their ongoing impact as part of my commitment to justice, healing, and collective liberation.
I am deeply committed to self-awareness and reflective practice, both personally and with those I serve. I walk alongside clients on a healing journey rooted in self-care, resilience, and transformation.
I integrate narrative therapy and other evidence-informed approaches through the lens of intersectionality to remain fully person-centered. My practice pays particular attention to the impacts of trauma and race-based stress on one’s inner world. As appropriate, I incorporate Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology to support healing that honors identity, lived experience, and systemic context.
I welcome all who value peace, healing, and justice to join me in this space—to try, to grow, and to be.

Hi, I'm Jean Messeroux, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MSW from Columbia University and over eleven years of experience supporting people through some of the most formative and demanding seasons of their lives. My background spans education and healthcare, where I worked as a teacher, social worker, and social emotional learning facilitator, and that experience shaped a practice built on the belief that therapy should feel practical, human, and connected to what you're actually living through, not detached from it. I work with a wide range of people, students figuring out who they are, professionals managing pressure and burnout, parents balancing everything at once, and athletes navigating performance and identity, because the core work of understanding yourself and building healthier patterns looks similar no matter what world you come from. Whatever brought you here, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen quickly and leave with tools you can actually use.
When healers need healing, where do they go? Usually, right here. I’ve built a distinct reputation as a "therapist’s therapist." Clinicians, medical professionals, and seasoned helpers trust me because I speak fluent clinical language, skip the superficial fluff, and understand the heavy toll of carrying everyone else's trauma. Behind my strength-based, holistic approach lies both hard-earned lived experience and sharp clinical precision. True success means helping you unearth your core values, build rock-solid boundaries, and step into your most evolved, emotionally intelligent self. That is the essence of achieving Dynamic Total Wellness. While Grow Therapy is a fantastic home base for our sessions, my primary clinical hub—featuring expanded availability and a deeper look at my practice philosophy—can always be explored over at DynamicsTotalwellness.com. Whether you’re holding space for an entire caseload or simply trying to reclaim your own Main Character Energy, you deserve a safe space where you get to be the client. Let’s get to work.

Maybe your mind feels like it never shuts off—overthinking, worrying, or constantly feeling on edge. Or maybe it’s the opposite... feeling low, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself in a way that’s hard to explain. Some days feel heavy, and even simple things take more effort than they used to.
You may also be carrying grief—whether from a loss, a life change, or something that didn’t turn out the way you hoped. At the same time, work stress or burnout might be adding another layer, leaving you feeling emotionally drained and stretched thin.
I primarily work with women who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and the impact of past experiences. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break.
