Welcome! I'm Silvie Wilson.
I'd like to acknowledge the strength it requires to take that first step of reaching out for help with your mental health from a therapist. I know it's not easy to begin the journey to better self understanding, compassion, and mastery.
My aim is to create a safe environment in which we can explore your own personal history, themes, and challenges, in order to find resources and solutions to the obstacles that hold you back from being exactly the person you've always wanted to be.
I will pay attention to who you are as an individual, reflect back your strengths, and help you to tie together the seemingly disparate aspects of your life so that you realize how much sense you make, have compassion for all phases of your development, and leave behind what no longer serves you to find the life you've always wanted.
Together we can build up your sense of self, your resilience, and your ability to find peace of mind.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Masters from the University of Southern California and have been practicing for over 10 years. I help adults struggling with stress and mental health issues become the best versions of themselves. I am passionate about meeting people where they are at and helping them feel better and reach their goals.
I started my journey into psychotherapy back in 2005. Over the years, I have learned a great deal regarding how much our lives are impacted by how we see the world, and what we focus on. I have learned that focusing on the present moment, and enjoying each moment for what it offers can be priceless. I have learned, and now teach others how to live mindfully, not in the past or the future, but in the present moment, as when we leave the present moment is when our suffering begins. I have extensive experience in trauma, and overcoming traumas, as well as approaching the world from a cultural perspective. Based on experience, I have seen that we see the world through the sense of our cultural forefathers, and therefore, sometimes we need to adjust our interpretation of what we see and experience. I have been amazed at the tenacity and strength of the human spirit, and I cannot disregard the presence of an all knowing, encompassing presence of a higher being in our lives. It is for this reason that I encourage patients to look at the world from multiple points of view. Sometimes changing the lens with which we look at the world, can make all the difference in what we see and feel.
I love helping you untangle the past while making sure you leave with practical tools to tackle the present (and future!). If you’re looking to break old patterns, level up your relationships, and find real solutions to life’s challenges, we’ll work together to get you there—no boring, jargon-filled therapy here! Let’s make some progress and have a little fun along the way.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and I have experience with children, adults, couples, and families in a therapeutic capacity. I specialize in trauma and family therapy. I describe my approach as compassionate, grounded, and I enjoy using active listening. While working with you, I hold the knowing and belief that each of us are naturally moving toward health and healing. We are all born with an innate and inherent wholeness that can often get lost in our culture or from traumas where help was not available at that time. I hold a heartfelt and safe space for the natural healing process.
I chose this field because I see myself as a healer, I am passionate about seeing people create the shifts in their lives that changes it all for the better. I think this passion is easily observable and felt in our interaction in session. My client's stories inspire me, motivate me, keep me going. Their success, their progress, "fills my cup" (yes, I am just another human and your kindness, your sweetness, your beautiful soul makes it all worth it).

My approach is warm, grounded, and direct. I’ll meet you with empathy, but I’ll also help you understand your patterns, gently challenge what’s no longer serving you, and build practical tools that create real, lasting change.
My goal is for you to feel more grounded, understood, and confident in how you move through your life and relationships.
I am also a mother of three and the founder of Groundwork Counseling Center, a nonprofit organization focused on expanding access to mental health care.
I encourage mental health and promote healthy relationships through behavioral activation, introspection, and authenticity to achieve long-term goals, including real intimacy by connection in your life starting from a core of self-love. The awareness and insight created in therapy facilitates change through self-realization, growth through self-actualization and all while living authentically as your true self in the present moment; free from the traumas of the past or the fears for the future and at peace in full acceptance with your thoughts. If you're ready to dive down the rabbit hole with me, I'm your therapist!
I practice solutions-focused therapy by integrating free association, behavioral activation, narrative therapy and trauma processing to promote self-awareness; psychoeducation, including CBT/DBT Mindfulness skills development to help clients manage symptoms to triggers for anxiety, panic attacks, OCD compulsions and depression.
I have extensive experience working with children, k-12 and college students, adults of all ages, parents, couples, LGBTQ+ and families of all backgrounds!

Hey there! I'm a young clinician that enjoys aiding clients through major and minor life transitions. I prefer a interactive, conversational style that allows for free flowing rapport building and client comfort through the treatment process. I know that counseling/therapy is not an easy situation to put oneself in, but if I can ease it in any way possible, that is the goal, so that we can focus on what most matters to you.

I am a Licensed Clinician in California, with over three decades of clinical experience. I specialize in culturally competent, Christian-integrated, strength-based therapy. My approach combines Biblical principles, Christian values, wisdom, and clinical expertise to support those seeking healing through a holistic and compassionate framework. I offer culturally competent therapeutic interventions, respecting all cultures and emphasizing the client's strengths as the foundation for overcoming challenges.
My name is Jared and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California. I have 6 years of professional experience as an individual therapist, family therapist and clinical case manager. My expertise is helping reduce maladaptive behaviors, anxiety, stress, depression, family conflict, coaching parents, increasing motivation, building a healthy self-esteem, and being self-efficient.
My hope is to build a safe space for you to gain insight, build self-awareness, and provide compassion to feel liberated. Therapy helps individuals recognize the roots of their suffering, let go of unhealthy attachments, and develop mindfulness. Therapy can provide a structured path to an idealized future by helping individuals heal, grow, and act with greater clarity, compassion, and responsibility.
My therapy approach is always non judgmental, attuned, and integrates active listening as well as unconditional positive regard. In addition, my multicultural personal and professional backgrounds allow me to work with a variety of cultures. Also, I try my best to meet the client where they are and learn where it is they want to be/go in life. This allows me to assist them in accomplishing the aforementioned in compassionate, authentic, and realistic ways. I am big on psychoeducation and insight driven change and or healing. Although emotional regulation based and emotion focused therapy are integrated into my clinical style, I do not utilize them in therapy without cognitive processing, cognitive behavioral, and or acceptance based modalities as well. This is because our beliefs, automatic thoughts, perceptions of ourselves and others play a role in our mental health just as much as our emotional experiences associated with them, they are interconnected.
I have worked in the social service field for over 15 years as a social worker, clinician and in administration. I enjoy giving, sharing, working in the community, and connecting individuals to essential resources and empowering them towards growth, progress and self-sufficiency.
My hope and objectives are to inspire others to keep going despite life’s challenges and difficult experiences. Considering personal experiences with setbacks and health challenges, obtaining an education and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker was not destined for me, however, it became obtainable and has been a great achievement. My all-time driven mottos are: "If I can, you can” and "carpe diem" seize the day as tomorrow is not promised. Therefore, I strive to reach back and help others thrive and live life full out.
I am inspired by the teachings of Brene Brown who states …” we can have courage or we can have comfort, but we cannot have both…courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” And I remain motivated by the late great Maya Angelou as she declares, “Still I Rise” …. “What you’re supposed to do when you don’t like a thing is change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it” [and] “nothing will work unless you do.”
I'm a psychoanalyst, not a generalist talk therapist. That distinction matters, especially because "psychoanalysis" gets used loosely to describe all kinds of depth-oriented work — Jungian, relational, psychodynamic — and these approaches, while related, aren't the same as what I do.
I work specifically within a Lacanian framework. Where Jungian analysis tends to orient around archetypes and the collective unconscious, and relational/psychodynamic approaches often emphasize the therapeutic relationship itself as the primary vehicle of change, Lacanian work stays close to language: what you actually say, how you say it, where you stumble, repeat, or contradict yourself. The unconscious, in this view, isn't a symbolic underworld to be mapped; it's structured like a language, and it shows up in the gaps, slips, and inconsistencies of your own speech. My job isn't to interpret you from the outside or to be a warm, steady presence that helps you feel supported (though I'm very present and attentive to what you say). It's by listening very closely to what you say — and how you say it — that patterns you can't currently see start to become audible to you.
This also means the frame looks different than typical talk therapy. Sessions can be variable in length rather than a fixed 45 to 60 minutes, because meaningful moments don't always arrive on a schedule. Over time, and only when it makes sense, we may move toward more frequent sessions and away from face-to-face format, using the couch — not as a gimmick, but because many people find they speak more freely without the pull to read my reactions.
This work is slower and less directive than most therapy people have tried. It's not for everyone, and it's not designed as such. It's for people who've done other kinds and want to go further.
I am an LCSW based in the Bay Area who offers compassionate psychotherapy and counseling to people coping with loss, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have deep expertise in end-of-life navigation, both pragmatically and emotionally, both for clients facing their own end of life, and their family members and caregivers. My approach is relational and trauma-informed, focused on building trust in a supportive and therapeutic environment. I have specific expertise working with school-aged and adolescent children, teens, and young adults, as well as significant experience providing grief and loss counseling to adults of all ages.
Navigating change and loss are some of the most profound challenges we face, and it can feel overwhelming and isolating. I believe that grief is not something to be "fixed" or hurried through, but rather a normal, powerful human response that needs space, patience, and support.
My practice is built on the understanding that every age group expresses and processes loss differently, requiring a highly personalized and creative approach. I support my clients to co-create a safe space to express and process their emotions, build coping skills, and uncover strengths and resilience, to be able to move forward at the pace that is right for them. Grief impacts every aspect of life, and there is no "right" way to grieve. Together, I support my clients to find hope again, understanding that we can move forward without "moving on."
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who values authenticity, connection, and creating a space where clients feel truly seen and supported. I believe therapy should be both practical and meaningful—helping you build tools for daily life while also gaining deeper insight into yourself and your experiences. I have experience providing in-person and telehealth therapy services to pregnant and parenting mothers as well as individuals with severe mental illness who needed follow-up after hospitalization or just an on-going therapeutic relationship. As a member of the Queer community, I enjoy working with others who identify within that population. I have experience working with grief, end of life support for individuals as well as their family.

I'm Kim, I love the outdoors and nature. I have a passion for animals and have several pets that I spend my free time with. Faith and religion are a big part of my life and upbringing and have been a big part of my moral compass through life's many trials. I believe that everyone should be accepted as they are and not judged for their choices or who they have become. I have a heart for helping others, especially those that feel lost or stuck. I strive to develop a great working relationship with my clients so that they may thrive in their own lives and circumstances and feel comfortable talking to me about anything that may be bothering them. Thriving and happiness are found within ourselves and I hope to help you unlock your full potential no matter your beliefs or background, and no matter how deeply your potential is buried inside of you.

Hi, I’m Shahnoor, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering decolonized, deeply insightful, trauma informed therapy for people who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, create meaningful change, and break out of a survival pattern.
My work goes beyond simply managing symptoms. Together, we explore the patterns, protective responses, inner child wounds, relationship dynamics, and inherited beliefs that may be shaping your life beneath the surface. Through deep insight, compassionate shadow work, and honest self exploration, we make space for the parts of you that have been silenced, abandoned, or forced to survive.
My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in the understanding that healing does not happen in isolation from identity, family, culture, power, or lived experience. Therapy with me is a space to untangle what belongs to you from what was imposed upon you, reconnect with your authentic self, and move through old wounds with greater clarity, self trust, and intention.
Therapy with me is not about fixing you. You are not broken. It is about meeting yourself more fully, understanding the wisdom beneath your defenses, and transforming the wounds and patterns that keep you disconnected from your power. Together, we can uncover the roots, honor the ways you learned to survive, and build a life that feels more aligned, liberated, and fully your own.
I'm a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with 19 years of clinical experience, 15 years licensed within private practice.
I consider myself to be bicultural. Having been raised as a first-generation American in a Latin family, I can identify with the mentality of someone living within two "worlds". Transitioning from one culture to another with seemingly different values, beliefs and language. I can easily understand the struggle that maintaining, and existing in both, can sometimes be. I've come to perceive and appreciate it as the gift of having a "bridge" that allows connection to, and understanding of, different aspects of people and life.
My education has a foundation in Clinical Psychology, woven with holistic transpersonal themes, the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and just plain down-to-earth common sense. Always keeping in mind the client's personal beliefs and values.

My name is Dr. Sheilly Arora, and I have been a practicing psychologist for nearly 20 years. I genuinely love what I do and consider it a privilege to help people navigate life's challenges and improve their overall well-being.
I specialize in several evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, and PTSD. It is incredibly rewarding to see how transformative this approach can be, and I look forward to helping you achieve more restful sleep and a better quality of life if insomnia has been affecting you.
Originally from the East Coast, I completed both my internship and postdoctoral training in California and have proudly called it home ever since. I feel fortunate to live and work in a community where I can do meaningful work helping others every day.
This version reads naturally for a professional website, highlights your expertise in CBT-I, and conveys warmth without sounding overly formal. If your audience is primarily veterans or patients in a medical setting, I can also make it feel a bit more approachable and relatable.
