Are life’s many challenges keeping you from living in your truth? Have these challenges affected your relationships, work, or health? If so, you are at the right place. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 11 years of experience in the field of social work. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree from East Carolina University. Since graduating, I have been providing direct services for individuals and families. I work with individuals from all backgrounds that have experienced grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting problems and career challenges. I am experienced in mindfulness and self-awareness. My therapy style is empathetic, compassionate, and respectful of your choices. My therapeutic approach combines mindfulness, systems theory, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. As your therapist, I meet you where you are. If you are ready to take the first step toward change, I am ready to join you on your journey of self-fulfillment and empowerment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to through in our follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is being able to meet you where you are as a therapist. As a therapist, one of my core beliefs is building a therapeutic relationship founded on trust and mutual respect.

My treatment methods

Supportive

In our sessions, I use a supportive therapy approach. This means that my main focus is on creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and validated. We’ll work together to explore your thoughts and feelings, and I’ll provide encouragement and understanding as you navigate through your challenges. My role is to support you in identifying your strengths and building on them, helping you manage stress, improve coping strategies, and find solutions that work best for you
