Tabitha Wolchesky
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Connecticut. I have been practicing for 8 years. I help adults who are dealing with meeting life on life's terms and feeling like they are not winning.
My greatest strength as a provider is being able to listen and hear the client providing them with skills to create the change they are looking to make.
I have a heart for helping people who feel they have tried everything and nothing has seemed to help, providing hope and change.
First session
In your first session you can expect a no judgement zone, safe place to speak your truth. The ability to take charge of what you need in each session and feel supported.
Strengths
My greatest strength as a provider is being able to listen and hear the client providing them with skills to create the change they are looking to make.
Ideal clients
I love working with a client who feels they are the black sheep. The client who feels they have done something wrong and the client who thinks they cannot change and create the best version of themselves.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy assist clients in reframing the narrative around unhelpful thoughts and how to recognize how their feelings impact their thoughts and behaviors.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps clients to view how different parts of self can view and process thoughts, core beleifs while creating change or problem solving.
