I’m Amanda & I’m looking forward to developing a trusting & therapeutic relationship with you. As a clinician, I feel passionately about supporting you through life's toughest (& most beautiful) moments. We can work together to figure out where (& who) you want be. I’m very excited to see what kind of changes we can bring about within you & your life. That’s the goal, right?!
Our first session will start by simply getting to know each other. I believe that it is important to trust one another for the therapy process to really have an impact. We will collaboratively sort through the specific challenges you want to address in your life and work to build your tool box of skills with our end goal being...well, you get to choose.
Unity is strength & we can do this together. We will confront challenges as a team & work to navigate them until you're living a life that feels just right.
I enjoy working from the ground up. This means clients who do not yet have the tools to be able to improve their lives yet are open and willing to work on reaching their goals. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, including keeping each other accountable.
We will work together with the goal of becoming aware of your thoughts & beliefs about your life and work to reshape this thinking.
Side by side we will get to know your Core Self along with all the parts that are within you. We’ll get curious about the role they play in your life, what activates them and remind those parts that it’s okay to take a break - & that the Core Self won’t get overwhelmed if we welcome them in for some coffee.
