Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, based in Connecticut. I received my Master’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University and have been practicing since 2018. , I have been working in a range of capacities; outpatient, child welfare, addiction treatment facility, nursing homes and extended day treatment programs for children. I have worked with wide range of ages from 3 to 101 years old. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels.
In the first session you can expect introduction, and to be able to share what your goals and hopes for therapy will be. You will be able to share about experiences, barriers and challenges and we will create a plan together for how we will achieve your goals.
I believe that empathy and understanding are crucial to assisting others. Many times people may feel that they are not heard and are worried about being judged when trying to express their thoughts and feelings and about their experiences. I feel that we often times do not feel we are able to speak to others about our experiences as they may try to impose their own beliefs or solve the problems for us. In my practice I believe that we have our own answers within us, we are our own experts and know what is possible for ourselves. I am here to provide support, validate, and to listen and through that you will be capable of sorting through your thoughts, boundaries and barriers to find answers and solutions for your own self.
My clients are eager to improve but may not feel they have the tools to accomplish their goals.

I believe that everyone is the expert for their own selves, and are most willing to make a change when it is something that they discover for their self, everyone has the answers I just am here to help you to guide the process. I think there is a great deal of value in being heard, and having an objective perspective on experiences.
