In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where your story matters. We’ll take time to explore what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and how I can best support you. This is a space where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are met with respect, curiosity, and care. I’ll ask some thoughtful questions to get a better sense of your background, what’s been feeling challenging lately, and what strengths you already have even if you’re not fully aware of them yet. Together, we’ll start shaping a clear path forward, identifying goals that feel meaningful to you and exploring practical strategies we might use along the way. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you’ll leave with a sense of clarity, hope, and a better understanding of how therapy can support your healing, growth, and the changes you want to create in your life.

In the first session, we’re not rushing into fixing everything. We’ll start by understanding what’s bringing you in, what’s been going on, and what you actually want to get out of therapy. I’ll ask some direct questions to get a clear picture of your patterns, challenges, and how things have been affecting you. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say.
