Hi, I’m Dr. Samuel, a mental health professional here to support you as you move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change. If you’re feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, stuck, navigating relationship stress, ADHD symptoms, or major life transitions, this is a space where you don’t have to figure it out alone. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach grounded in Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We’ll work together to understand what’s happening, identify what’s already working, and build practical tools that help you manage emotions, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and create more balance in your life. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you, you’re not broken. It’s about creating a safe space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels aligned and steady. When you’re ready, I’m here to walk alongside you.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where your story matters. We’ll take time to explore what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and how I can best support you. This is a space where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are met with respect, curiosity, and care. I’ll ask some thoughtful questions to get a better sense of your background, what’s been feeling challenging lately, and what strengths you already have even if you’re not fully aware of them yet. Together, we’ll start shaping a clear path forward, identifying goals that feel meaningful to you and exploring practical strategies we might use along the way. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you’ll leave with a sense of clarity, hope, and a better understanding of how therapy can support your healing, growth, and the changes you want to create in your life.
As a therapist, one of my greatest strengths is creating a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I believe that healing happens in relationships built on trust, openness, and mutual respect and I’m deeply committed to fostering that kind of connection with each person I work with. I bring specialized training in Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which allows me to offer practical, evidence-based tools tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether we’re working through tough emotions or building skills for lasting change, I focus on approaches that are both compassionate and effective. I’m also dedicated to ongoing learning and staying current with the latest research so that the care I provide is grounded in both heart and science. More than anything, I’m passionate about helping people tap into their own resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and move toward meaningful growth at a pace and path that feels right for them.
Are you struggling behind the smile you show to the world? Are handling your responsibilities, showing up for others, and getting things done, but internally dealing with overthinking, stress, frustration, or feeling stuck? Do you feel pressured to figure things out alone, not talk about emotions, and keep pushing forward? I work with those who are tired of overthinking everything, avoiding difficult conversations, anxious, depressed, or feeling like they’re not moving forward in life. Many of my clients deal with anxiety, ADHD, relationship stress, or burnout, but it shows up as procrastination, anger, shutting down, irritability, isolation, or feeling mentally drained. If that sounds familiar, you’re not the only one, and you don’t have to keep handling it the same way. My approach is direct, practical, and focused on real change. We’re not just talking about problems, we’re working on: how to manage racing thoughts, reframe perspective, and address negative core issues. how to stop avoiding things you know you need to do how to communicate clearly without overthinking it how to break patterns that keep showing up in relationships I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but more importantly, I help you apply what we talk about in real life. I offer virtual sessions so therapy fits into your life. Whether you’re at home, on a break, or grabbing a quick meal, you don’t have to pause your day to get support. In the first session, we’re not rushing into fixing everything. We’ll start by understanding what’s bringing you in, what’s been going on, and what you actually want to get out of therapy. I’ll ask some direct questions to get a clear picture of your patterns, challenges, and how things have been affecting you. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say.

This was my second meeting with Dr. Louissiant. So far, he has been incredibly knowledgeable about my trials, including doubts in my Christian walk and questions about identity. I would highly recommend Dr. Louissiant as a therapist to those who tend to question and doubt.
