It's 2023 and let's be honest- we all have something that we could use additional help navigating. I'm passionate about providing support to teens and adults looking to gain awareness, understanding, and skills to manage life changes, interpersonal relationships, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief, and PTSD. My clients describe wanting to see sustainable change in their lives and are open to challenging their beliefs and disrupting current behavioral patterns to achieve that change. Additionally, I have a special interest in working with populations who are marginalized including racial/ethnic, sexual, and gender minorities. Reaching out to a therapist is one of the most powerful actions a person can take. I'm dedicated to helping others increase their belief in their abilities to set and achieve goals. I look forward to meeting you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Together, we will discuss your needs, create a plan, and work to help you improve your overall satisfaction with your daily functioning.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

While I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), I also utilize a holistic and integrated approach to provide the most appropriate individualized care for each of my clients. I combine a strengths-based, solution-focused, and systems approach keeping in mind the importance of community and environment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've been told that my biggest strength is being able to actively listen and synthesize what a person is trying to communicate to me, even if they don't have the "perfect" words to describe it. My current clients express gratitude for my dedication and honesty while working to help empower them to create the life they want for themselves.
