Hello, welcome to Behavioral Health Support. My name is Trasie Phillips, MSW, LICSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of licensure in three states and 30 years of experience as a social worker. Over the past decade, I have provided services to active duty military personnel, veterans, families, couples, clients dealing with detox and addiction, and EAP participants. Clients have reported that the treatment they receive helps them address their mental health goals.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session I will complete the In-Take assessment and review with you any In-Take assessment tools. This will involve clarifications, questions, explanations, with confirmed understandings. This allows both of us to understand and agree, why you are in treatment, your treatment goals, and the styles methods we will use to meet your goals. By the end of the In-Take assessment, and first session, we should easily agree on 3 therapy goals, the frequency and duration of sessions, and how we will measure outcomes.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My primary strength is trauma/PTSD with cultural competency, supported by training, experience, and education at an advanced level. If there is something I do not know, I will seek out the necessary information. When a client makes progress, we review and discuss these developments together. Upon goal completion, services are concluded or adjusted as appropriate. I maintain that individuals are not required to be perfect but rather should be able to participate in their communities comfortably, safely, and with adequate support.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am dedicated to developing treatment plans for individuals from all backgrounds and am committed to supporting a diverse clientele.
