My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my work, I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a mindfulness-based approach designed to help clients accept difficult emotions, clarify their values, and commit to actions that lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. ACT emphasizes psychological flexibility—the ability to be open to experience, stay connected to the present moment, and act in alignment with personal values, even when faced with discomfort or difficulty.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts, behaviors, and emotional patterns. CBT is an evidence-based, structured approach that empowers clients to gain greater control over their mental health by addressing negative thinking and developing more adaptive coping strategies.

Couples Counseling

In couples counseling, I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for partners to communicate openly and work through any existing conflicts constructively.

Motivational Interviewing

I utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI), a client-centered, collaborative counseling style, to help individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about change. MI is grounded in empathy, active listening, and guiding clients to articulate their own motivations for change. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, affirmations, and summarization, I create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can enhance their intrinsic motivation to make lasting changes.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

practice in session mindfulness exercises and provide mindfulness techniques to help minimize and alleviate negative symptoms associated with mental health issues
