I am a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. My background in primary care and geriatrics taught me that mental and physical health are inseparable. I transitioned into psychiatry to advocate for underserved populations and provide the compassionate, integrity-driven care everyone deserves. My mission is simple: to listen deeply, guide you with expertise, and help you reclaim your quality of life. I combine thoughtful medication management with supportive therapy and client education. I don't just prescribe; I partner with you. By helping you understand the "why" behind your treatment, I empower you to take an active, confident role in your own healing process. In our first session, we will look at the "big picture." We won't just focus on your symptoms; we'll also discuss your history, lifestyle, and goals. First session
Welcome to Psychiatry at Grow Therapy! My name is Tolulope Adedayo DNP. I am a provider on the platform. I look forward to meeting you during our live video session! Feel free to check my schedule to book a session, or we can communicate here to find a time that works for both of us. To participate in the live video session, you will need to be on a mobile device with a strong Wi-Fi connection. Please complete the customer information section in the product, and send the name and address of your preferred pharmacy so we can send your e-prescriptions. Please note: therapists are separate from medication prescribers within Grow Therapy. However, I provide psychotherapy to my clients as well as medication management. As a reminder, I will assess the need to prescribe any controlled substances such as Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, Valium), Hypnotics (Ambien, Lunesta), or Stimulants (Vyvanse, Adderall, Concerta, Ritalin) per policy if our sessions is 100% telehealth. However, I can prescribe non-controlled medications to treat ADHD if we chose 100% telehealth.
Strengths
My greatest strengths include providing compassionate care to my clients using an evidence-based approach. My goal is to provide a safe environment where my clients can be heard and we work together to bring out the best version of themselves. I am dedicated to my clients with flexible availability, and I am available to accommodate each client to meet their personal needs.
Ideal clients
My clinical experience includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, substance use, and emotional dysregulation while providing personalized and compassionate care to clients 18 years and above. My treatment plan includes holistic care with medication management, CBT, Faith-Based therapy, and ongoing psychiatric care.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate CBT principles into medication management and therapeutic encounters by helping my clients identify maladaptive thought patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop healthier coping strategies. I use CBT as a complementary approach in addition to pharmacologic treatment to enhance insight, improve treatment adherence, and empower my client to actively participate in their recovery.
Faith-based therapy
I incorporate faith-based principles in a client-centered and respectful manner, guided by each individual's beliefs, values, and preferences. I explore how individual beliefs influence their understanding of illness, hope, forgiveness, and purpose. This allows me to align therapeutic goals with what matters most to the patient while maintaining clinical boundaries and ethical standards.
