I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I have over 19 years of experience working with diverse populations in multiple different settings: schools, community based-agencies, substance abuse treatment centers, and private practice. In my experiences as a therapist, I have learned that people have the desire to feel heard. They have the desire to set goals and the desire to experience meaningful relationships, while understanding the true purpose of their lives
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we will spend some time getting to know each other, discussing prior experiences if any in counseling, and identify the challenges you are facing. We will brainstorm goals and action steps for the counseling process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My experiences working in diverse settings with many different groups of people helped me realize the power in the therapeutic relationship. This requires an individualized approach for each client. Understanding my clients from a systemic and mulitcultural lens is also a strength as a provider.

I love working with people who are working to acheive goals related to personal development, relationships, career, and education. I really enjoy helping people identify their purpose in life. I approach counseling through a strength-based lens, guided by the stages of change model. I believe that we are the experts of our own lives and we have the answers to our problems, but oftentimes we need someone to guide us through our thoughts and feelings to those ‘lightbulb’ moments. My passion is walking alongside folks who are on a journey to identify their areas of growth, develop a plan, and execute the plan to maximize their purpose and joy in their lives.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I utilize solution-focused strategies such as goal setting to equip clients with tools to reach their personal, relationship, and career goals. Building relationships with clients is essential to creating a safe place to explore what barriers and stressors people are experiencing. My passion is walking alongside folks who are on a journey to identify their areas of growth, develop a plan, and execute the plan to maximize their purpose and joy in their lives.
