First session

During our first session, you can expect to be listened to with care and respect as we talk through your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’d like to get out of therapy, all at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Strengths

I draw from a wide range of therapy approaches and tailor the art to each individual client I work with. With years of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in helping individuals navigate through life. I am a licensed therapist and my approach is person-centered and strength-based, grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity for healing and growth when given the right support and space.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who feels ready—maybe not fully confident, but willing—to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or challenges related to substance use, as well as relationship struggles shaped by attachment patterns. They’re thoughtful, self-aware, and open to exploring both the “why” behind their experiences and the practical steps toward growth. Drawing from approaches like attachment-focused therapy, I support clients in building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating a life that feels more aligned, balanced, and authentic.

Therapy is framed in a person-centered approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and acknowledges that a person's behavior or symptoms may stem from past adversity.

EMDR

a structured psychotherapy that helps people heal from symptoms and emotional distress caused by traumatic experiences and it allows the brain to reprocess and re-store traumatic memories, lessening their emotional charge.
