My name is Krystal Kelly-Edwards, and I am the owner of Grace Valley Clinical Services LLC, a private practice rooted in faith and a commitment to serving the community. I bring over 14 years of professional experience in human services, working with adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities across various settings. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hartford in 2009 and my Master’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Clinical Counseling from Post University in 2014. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. My career began at New Hope Manor, a residential facility for adolescents, where I worked from 2009 to 2012. I then joined REM CT Community Services as an Employment Specialist, later taking on a dual role as a clinical intern facilitating individual and group therapy. In 2014, I advanced to a Behavioral Specialist position, where I developed behavioral support plans, conducted therapy sessions, and trained staff. In 2015, I began working with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) as a Social Worker Trainee, later becoming a Social Worker Investigator in 2017. In 2018, I transitioned to the Department of Aging and Disabilities, serving as a Vocational Counselor with the Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind. In 2022, I founded Grace Valley Clinical Services, combining my clinical expertise with my faith. I am deeply committed to personal growth, community impact, and providing compassionate, effective care. Beyond my professional roles, I am a minister, wife, mother, daughter, and sister dedicated to serving others.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make your first session feel welcoming, safe, and meaningful. During your first session with me at Grace Valley Clinical Services, we’ll focus on getting to know you—at your pace. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, any challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything all at once; this is your space. We’ll also review important information such as confidentiality, your rights as a client, and the structure of therapy. I want you to feel fully informed and comfortable. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share any concerns you may have about the process. I take a holistic approach, meaning I consider your mental, emotional, and (if you desire) spiritual well-being. If faith is important to you, we can incorporate it into your care—but it will always be led by your comfort and preference. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and discuss how we can work toward them. Whether you’re seeking support, clarity, healing, or growth, this is a collaborative process. Most importantly, you can expect a nonjudgmental, compassionate environment where you are seen, heard, and respected. My role is to support and guide you—but you remain the expert of your own life.
