We offer initial psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, ongoing psychiatric medication management, patient & family education about the psychiatric process and other ancillary services. In carrying out these functions efficiently, we collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, and other mental health workers. Above all, we follow HIPAA and professional guidelines regarding client confidentiality. We will work with you to achieve optimum mental health through the model of a patient-centered approach combined with empathy, compassion, patience, and equitability. First session
In a private, welcoming and supportive environment , clients should expect to be asked detailed questions about current mental health symptoms, medical history, family history, social history and overall lifestyle to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients situation. They should also expect to have a discussion on goals for treatment, potential treatment options including medication, and have the opportunity to ask any questions they might have about the process and your care plan. The aim is to gain a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs and develop a personalized treatment plan.
Strengths
My biggest strengths are strong analytical skills, empathy, non -judgemental, good listener and patience. With 2 years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and over 6 years as a psychiatric Registered nurse. I have mastered the art of treating mental health patients through creating an initial good rapport, proper diagnosis, and timely response to their requests These are in addition to my conventional duties of having good psychiatric diagnostic and medication management strengths.
