I am a therapist who is a people person. I started out in the accounting industry and soon realized it was not for me and went back to get my degree in counseling. I live with my wife and a houseful of little dogs: chihuahuas, Shih Tzu, and Maltese. I specialize in women’s issues, ptsd, grief, and anxiety. I feel truly honored when people choose me to help them in their life journey,
More than anything else, I want you to feel safe and free to express anything that is on your mind. We will chat and get to know each other. I will invite you to tell me your story and concerns. We will plan how to move forward with goals that are importance to you.
What I hope stands out is that I see you. You aren’t a “condition” but a valuable person. I tailor my approach to you and your goals.
I have years of experience working with individuals who are survivors of abuse, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse and sexual abuse. I am very LGBTQ affirming. General anxiety and grief are other concerns that I have experience with. My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate and collaborative. I want you to feel safe knowing that you can speak your mind and be heard.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help you manage your emotions so that you don’t feel so overwhelmed by them.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
If we change our approach or the way we think about a problem, it’s helps the us to then change our behavior.
