Starting therapy can feel overwhelming — especially if you’ve spent years feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or trapped in unhealthy relationship patterns. You may be carrying the effects of trauma, chronic stress, people-pleasing, or narcissistic abuse while trying to hold everything together on the outside. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone, and healing is possible. I work with adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, emotional overwhelm, relationship wounds, and the lasting impact of narcissistic or emotionally abusive partner or parent/childhood relationships. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in survival mode — constantly overthinking, walking on eggshells, questioning themselves, or feeling emotionally drained. Together, we work to help you feel safer in your body, more confident in your boundaries, and more connected to who you truly are. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in creating a space where you feel genuinely seen and understood without judgment. I believe therapy should feel supportive and empowering, not clinical or cold. I integrate evidence-based approaches while also focusing deeply on emotional safety, self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and practical tools you can use in everyday life. Whether you are recovering from trauma, navigating difficult partner relationships, struggling with anxiety, or trying to rebuild your sense of self after emotional abuse, therapy can help you regain clarity, confidence, and peace. You do not have to continue carrying this alone. Reaching out for help takes courage. If you’re ready to begin healing and creating healthier patterns, I’d be honored to support you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

More than anything else, I want you to feel safe and free to express anything that is on your mind. We will chat and get to know each other. I will invite you to tell me your story and concerns. We will plan how to move forward with goals that are importance to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What I hope stands out is that I see you for the unique person you are. You aren’t a “condition” or a diagnosis, but a valuable person. I tailor my approach to you and your goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have years of experience working with individuals who are survivors of abuse, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse and sexual abuse. I am very LGBTQ affirming. General anxiety and grief are other concerns that I have experience with. My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate and collaborative. My treatment methods

Compassion Focused

I treat all clients with respect and want to hear your thoughts and feelings. We all have unique journeys that have brought us to where we are today. I want to hear your story and help you with your challenges.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help you manage your emotions so that you don’t feel so overwhelmed by them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

If we change our approach or the way we think about a problem, it’s helps the us to then change our behavior.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness can help us stay focused and in the moment. It can be especially helpful for those who find themselves worrying about the future “what ifs”.
