Though I enjoy working with most populations, my passion lies with helping survivors of emotional abuse and sexual trauma rediscover their identities and learn to trust themselves as their own greatest ally. I also hope to help survivors develop a positive view of their bodies, sex, and sexuality. My hope is to teach my clients to set healthy boundaries, speak up for themselves, and ask for what they want because their voice deserves to be heard!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My style is often informal; caring and relaxed, but firm when needed. According to my patients, I am a "sarcastic dork who tells people what they need to hear." Previous patients have told me that they like me as a therapist because I "don't act like a typical therapist." In my spare time I enjoy playing video games (Xbox and Switch), cooking, and binge-watching Marvel movies with my pet birds/floofy marshmallows, Penny and Oz.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

After working in college and residential settings, I have learned that it is often best to be direct with my clients. During sessions, everything I say is said with the love and care that my clients deserve, but I am not known to "sugarcoat." I find that once we put a direct mirror up to the toughest parts of ourselves and look at it with honesty, we are truly able to make change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I consider myself experienced in working with young people with anxiety, depression, trauma, and members of kink and poly communities. I have eclectic experience as a therapist having worked with folks ages 10 and up on concerns including relationships, intimate partner violence, sexuality, and self esteem.
