My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for several years and have utilized this technique with my clients to help them to reframe negative thoughts and to create positive outlooks. CBT enables individuals to refocus their thoughts and challenge thinking that causes increase in stress and anxious feelings. My treatment modality centers around the client, their needs, and goals. Thus, I utilize other techniques such as mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy to aid in developing clients' strengths and growth.
