Over the past two decades, I have dedicated my career to the mental health field, spending the last 12 years providing direct, transformative clinical therapy. My entry into this profession was driven by a profound passion to assist individuals in overcoming internal barriers, discovering lasting peace, and optimizing their overall quality of life. Today, my private practice delivers highly specialized individual care by seamlessly integrating four premier, evidence-based modalities: EMDR, CBT, CBT-I, and DBT. This advanced clinical toolkit allows me to treat the full spectrum of psychological needs, ranging from mild situational stressors and acute insomnia to severe, complex trauma and emotional dysregulation.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your initial session is designed to be a safe, welcoming space where we can connect and establish a strong collaborative foundation. Together, we will get to know each other, explore your history, and clearly define what your desired outcome looks like. My practice is deeply rooted in client-driven care, meaning you remain the expert on your own life while I provide the clinical tools. During this first meeting, we will begin formulating a tailored treatment roadmap, selecting the precise strategies from EMDR, CBT, CBT-I, or DBT that align with your unique needs. Our goal is to transform your personal vision of healing into a structured, achievable plan that allows you to reclaim your peace and live life to the fullest.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In my practice, there is no one-size-fits-all checklist. My approach in each session is unique, because you are unique. My life and career experiences have taught me one absolute truth: healing cannot be forced or rushed. Pushing too fast doesn't work. Because of this, our sessions move at the speed of safety. There will be times when I will guide you step-by-step through a skill, and times when I will challenge you to look at a situation differently or face a difficult memory. But we will always do it together, collaboratively, using proven tools from EMDR, CBT, CBT-I, and DBT to help you reach your goals without overwhelming your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Whether you are feeling mildly stuck, moderately overwhelmed, or completely exhausted by past trauma, your mental health care shouldn't be one-size-fits-all. In my practice, I blend four powerful, evidence-based frameworks—EMDR, CBT, CBT-I, and DBT—to meet you exactly where you are today. If you are struggling with racing thoughts, emotional storms, or chronic insomnia, we will use tailored tools to calm your nervous system, rebuild your sleep, and help you regain control. From simple stress-management routines for milder worries to deep trauma processing for long-standing struggles, we will build a roadmap that fits your unique life. Let's work together to restore your peace of mind and get your nights back.

My treatment methods

EMDR

Since 2020, I have been using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients heal from trauma, anxiety, and deep-seated emotional blocks. Over the years, I have seen firsthand how powerful this approach is in helping people break free from the past and truly get their lives back. When you experience trauma or chronic stress, your brain can get overwhelmed, leaving painful memories stuck or "frozen" in your nervous system. This often shows up in daily life as constant anxiety, feeling emotionally stuck, or experiencing physical tension like a tight chest or racing heart. In my practice, I use EMDR to help your brain process those old, heavy memories so they lose their painful sting. We work together as a team, moving at a pace that feels entirely safe and comfortable for you. My approach focuses on helping you regain a healthy mind-body connection, quiet your critical inner voice, and build practical grounding skills. EMDR does not just help you manage your symptoms—it helps you change how you feel at a core level, allowing you to reclaim your confidence, find peace, and move forward with absolute freedom.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Restructuring to help clients identify and break free from negative thought traps. When dealing with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, it is easy for your mind to get stuck in loops of worry, guilt, or constant self-criticism. These automatic negative thoughts can make you feel emotionally overwhelmed and sluggish in your daily life.In our sessions, we work together to look at these thoughts objectively. I help you track your internal "inner critic" and gently challenge the unhelpful patterns that keep you feeling small. Rather than just talking about the problem, CBT provides practical, real-world tools to change how you talk to yourself. By restructuring these core beliefs, you can lower your anxiety, build a strong internal locus of control, and learn to make major life decisions with confidence and peace.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I use CBT-I to help you break the cycle of insomnia and racing nighttime thoughts. Together, we will unpair the stressful habits that keep you awake and retrain your brain to rest naturally. We will use practical tools to reset your internal clock, lower sleep anxiety, and restore the daily energy you need to take back control.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage overwhelming emotions, lower intense anxiety, and build strong interpersonal relationships. When you are caught in a cycle of emotional distress, it can easily trigger a "freeze response" or make you feel completely flooded and defensive.Through DBT, I teach highly practical, real-world skills divided into four main areas: Mindfulness to keep you in the present moment, Distress Tolerance to help you survive a crisis without feeling paralyzed, Emotion Regulation to stop intense mood swings, and Interpersonal Effectiveness to help you communicate your needs and set healthy boundaries without guilt. Together, we will focus on finding a balance between accepting where you are right now and building the concrete behavioral changes you need to take back control of your life.
