Greetings! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I am also an Army veteran and military spouse. I received my Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University. I offer an integrative approach to therapy that is trauma-focused and Christian-based.
During our first session together, we will get to know one another, discuss the therapeutic process, and collaborate on defining your therapeutic goals.
Through my education and training in trauma-informed care and perinatal mental health and my work as a birth doula, I have developed both the skills and compassion to provide support for women and their partners/families throughout conception, pregnancy and the post-partum period.
I offer comprehensive therapy for all types of mental health issues that arise during and after pregnancy, such as anxiety, depression, birth trauma, infertility, and grief and loss.
Incorporating Christian values and strategies with secular treatments to aid in coping and processing previous or current trauma experiences that may be impacting pregnancy, postpartum recovery, attachment to baby, and parenting.
A holistice approach used to help regulate client's nervous system and cope with trauma symptoms that are impacting the mind, body, and spirit.
Trauma focused treatment to process previous or current trauma experiences that may be impacting pregnancy, postpartum recovery, attachment to baby, and parenting.
Creating a therapeutic environment that is safe, transparent, collaborative, supportive, empowering, and culturally sensitive.
